Official Thread Game of Thrones

I know I must be crazy but for some reason I keep thinking they've only shown 7 episodes so far.

I think the Mountain dies as well and (hope) because of this Tyrion somehow doesn't get executed. I don't see any other way of keeping him alive(unless they aren't :( )

I approve

Haha, that's pretty much how everyone wanted that whole thing to turn out. Fortunately for us it's in the hands of someone that wants to do things we don't see coming, like killing off our favorite character :)

It seems like everyone really liked Prince Oberyn which surprises me a little, I guess I wasn't that attached to him in the books. I mean he was interesting but I never cared about him, I just wanted him to save Tyrion's life (which remains to be seen)

Also, while reading the book I was imagining Prince Oberyn as this guy (no joke):

So I was slightly disappointed, as you can surely understand.

Its that damn week break. Still at least they don't do a stupid mid season break.

Hopefully we will hear about the Dunk & Egg mini series soon.

Why did they finish nearly ten minutes early?!

Gosh, after that preview I am 100% certain hundreds of thousands of people will need surgery to reattach their jaws.

Awesome episode that went by far too quickly. I also have to say this show has the best special effects I've ever seen on television, things usually look like they fit in with the world and aren't just pasted over it the way they do in so many other shows.

Well, I set myself up for a slow episode-as is usually the case for EP9- and instead we got that, the most action packed episode to date. Totally awesome.

Wow, almost all of the main wildling characters gone like that. Should be interesting to see how this pans out next season. Some brutal deaths without a doubt in this one. They're just bringing it this season.

I loved that part, the effects for the Giants and the Mammoth looked great for a tv show too. I'm glad we finally got an episode that heavily featured Jon Snow, he's one of my favorite characters and we haven't gotten to see much of him this season. I still think an open world action game featuring Jon Snow as the main character (with Ghost) that takes place in the North including the Wall and beyond would be awesome.

It seems his story is just really taking off- he will probably die next week..lol. I agree on the effects, the Giants and pretty much everything in the show is of high quality.

Is next weeks episode two hours? They have a lot to cram in in the final episode. I liked last night's episode but they have a lot to cover next week.

Not really. All that needs to be concluded is the Tyrion stuff. The John snow stuff is going to continue for a while.

They have to conclude Tyrion's stuff. They have to show Snow confronting the enemy. Aria and Hound's storyline needs to be revisited and hung for next season. Denarys storyline still needs to be addressed. There needs to be more dragonage. There's still a lot to cover.

Nah, Denarys will not continue much. I imagine her story will pick up steam next season. Snow, nah. They have set his story up for next season. Aria and the Hound could get some time and then Tyrion's stuff . I see the next episode going something like this...

Tyrion's story will be the main focus and make up the majority of the episode. Denarys will get a quick scene or two. Aria and the Hound a few quick scenes. The ending will be on Snow. Maybe engaging the Wildlings and cue credits. Maybe Little finger and Sansa get a scene too.

One thing I have noticed this season. We have had very little Spider time. Varys has barely been seen.

I think Little's and Sansa's season was ended with this.....
