No real surprise, but confirmation. I'm curious to see the numbers.
I'm sad that Sunset Overdrive didn't even chart. Poor Insomniac. No matter where they go people don't buy their games. Borderlands the Presequel charting is...slightly disappointing. Don't get me wrong, not hating but I'd rather see SSOD there than BL-PS. Xbox gamers don't like soccer.
Super f***ing Smash Bros (I don't even like the series) did around 485K this month, as it is now over 1.2 million between digital and physical in the US. o_o
Yeah, but most games typically sell the lion share at launch. It will likely only drop off further for November.Sunset OD was only available for a few days in Oct., so maybe that's why it didn't rank in the top 10.

I just realized Horizon 2 didn't chart either. I got to play a bit of that and very much liked it (more than another racer I won't mention by name because of how it would Drive this thread into yet another fight over which console Club is cooler).
I hope gamers realize that these companies aren't charities. Don't ask for new IPs and then not buy them when they come out, then turn around and complain when they stop making new IPs...and yes I know FH2 isn't a new IP.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, main market for racing game is in Europe, a market that X1 is selling 1/3 or less than PS4. Still we expect it to sell decently enough in US.Oh wow. The Forza franchise was a sales juggernaut for the 360. FH2 is awesome. I know the Xbox One has sold considerably less worldwide than the PS4 but why aren't Xbox gamers buying these games like they did last gen? Makes no sense.
Who says it isn't selling well? I bet it is selling well.Looks like October was another dominant month for the PS4. Just one of many more to come.
It sucks that Sunset Overdrive didn't do that well. Looks like the roles have reversed and Xbox gamers are the ones who don't buy their games this gen. Just saying.
it was released on the 28th and a lot of sales were from bundles.I'm sad that Sunset Overdrive didn't even chart. Poor Insomniac. No matter where they go people don't buy their games. Insomniac made a mistake not going multiplat. Don't know if the franchise survives now which sucks as it was probably the most original game to come out this year. Also a little sad to see Alien Isolation no show. Doesn't bode well for games trying something different.
Yes. That's how sales go in this industry. They will only drop off from here especially with all the games releasing next week. After three days?
Yet people buy the same crap IP's blindly year after year. I agree with you in principle, but it is sad.Regarding people not supporting new IP's you should only buy them if they appeal to you, just because it's new isn't enough of a reason to buy it.
