Capcom is bringing DmC Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the publisher announced.
DmC Devi May Cry: Definitive Edition will be available for purchase at retail and as a digital download across Europe and North America on March 17 for $39.99 / €39.99. It will include the original game, all previously released downloadable content, including the “Vergil’s Downfall” campaign, as well as brand new modes and additional gameplay features.
New to the Definitive Edition is the ability to play as Dante’s twin brother in “Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode.” The “Gods Must Die” difficulty will offer an “extra depth of challenge,” and “Must Style Mode” and “Hardcore Mode” are designed to play more like the series’ classic entrie. There will also be new Dante and Vergil costumes inspired by the series’ classic haracter designs.
The game will also see balancing and improvements based on fan feedback, as well as modifiers that can be turned on at various stages, including “Turbo Mode,” which allows players to increase the speed of play for “faster and more intense combat.” Additional leaderboards, trophies / achievements, and social features are also included.
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in summer 2015
