Darn it TD

PS4vsXboxOnefeaturedPSLS.jpg

Hey, i started playing Resident Evil Remastered for the PS4 last night. You know, the game that started it all for the PS brand? I gotta rep team blue right now. It just feels right.

I agree 100%. Just because something is anticipated doesn't mean it's going to be good. Still, I'd rather have a lineup that is anticipated rather than one that looks as boring as Microsoft's at this point.

It's all a matter of opinion, I think Persona and NMS look boring as hell and would rather play Ori and Cuphead, but hey that's just my opinion, I just make it less obnoxious than you seem to do.

...and if you liked the Vita's 2015 offerings the best, I'd say more power to ya. However, this is the Game Lineup Comparison Thread. I think it's been proven time and time again that the majority of gamers think the PS4 lineup is the strongest. That is all.

Where is this proof? Also, show exactly where and how its been proven time and time again.

Oh God. You don't need to go down with the ship. It's not the end of the world if your console of choice doesn't have the most buzz around it for the next 11 months. You people need to grow up.

Good God.

Ok, so there is once again no proof. Just making sure. Every once in awhile you will have something.

Whatever I see of the order 1886 looks jaw dropping.

2/3rds of the screen anyway...

Very disappointing
Which ones? Personally, for me and what I have seen from their Steam trailers; Stranded Deep, Venetica, Super Galaxy Squadon, Grey Goo, Guild Commander, PARTICLE MACE, TorqueL, Without Within, TOXIKK, Armello, and Project Night, Nicolas Eymerich The Inquisitor Book II : The Village look worth while.

Still using the ol' 2014 argument that the new build is a downgrade? lol. Keep the attempt coming, it's humorous.

http://www.gamepur.com/feature/1481...s-are-fake-old-vs-new-build-comparison-s.html

The new build's actually an improvement.

"This is definitely a big visual upgrade from the early build of the game. This is not limited to a simple upgrade in graphics as the character models also look a whole lot better now. There are more effects added like motion blur, which in turns helps with the visuals. Along with this, we have also seen some artistic change in lighting showing a shift in the time of the day as the comparison below demonstrates. Same here with the one below being the old build and the one below it being the new build."

"The graphics/visuals in this new build were stunning, character models, environment looks more realistic and there were some massive changes to lead characters uniforms.

We didn't notice even a minute graphics/visuals downgrade in the new build but rather discovered a massive improvement."

I looked up around 12 games Super Galaxy Squadron and Project Night looked okay for my taste.

Literally the only game I looked up, the first game that caught my eye in your list, I then looked up and it was Early Access.

Also, why do you have the same game listed twice?

I can't trust you anymore Kassen. :/

Seems like every new 1886 promo piece gets foggier and foggier. I guess that's what happens when console power is funneled to mustache hairs.

The new build shot shows higher res than a last gen game, but also faded textures like an early last gen game.

Notice when the game is promoted for visuals, it's usually some kind of up close face shot detailing skin creases and hair... something gamers won't really be able to see when actually playing the game from a farther out camera view. Gameplay is third person over the shoulder after all.

The only thing clear in the pic is his hand/forearm, head and thing on his shoulder. Everything else in the new build morphed into 50 Shades of Grey.

To also save on processing power, they also got rid of armour from the old pic (metal forearm guard and shoulder chains/chain looking shoulder pad) to both nothing on the shoulder and a simpler form of protective cover where the forearm protector is just dark brown. They also got rid of that rope thing on his left arm.

The old build is more natural movement turning his head and he even motions to turn that gadget on. The new build is simpler animation where he turns his head like a robot and that gadget is already on.

To sum up, they totally dumbed down the character clothing and focused it on better facial movements (jaw/mouth movements).

Gears had a grey/pale looking colour palette and it was one of the best looking early games of last gen. What, suddenly it's a problem?

Besides, I don't see a problem of using a foggy, dark atmospheric aura for this game in London set during the Victorian era.

The game's looking to be the best looking next-gen game out so far and set the new standards for this year.

The second batch of pics even shows more visual degredation. Although one is a still image and one is a GIF, you can see the huge difference in image quality and detail.

The old build shot, you can see details like bricks, wood in the corner, and even the crate and floors are more detailed. You can also see the character's clothing has gold trim detailing.

The newer build has fog so bad, it might as well be textures from 2006.

In the new build pic, if these characters had WWII clothes, I'd swear the pic could be swapped with Call of Duty 2. The flat textures and colour scheme scream 2006 Allies vs. Germany.

If you focus on the character on the left, the new build pic doesn't even need changing. It's basically a German AI solider in a trenchcoat garb from CoD 2!

I'm predicting the Order gets a 7.0 or so. Game is definitely gorgeous, but looks completely uninspiring game play wise.
I've been pretty good predicting scores in my head. The Crew, FH2 and DC were all within a small margin. Though I was off with Halo MCC. I thought that game would get low 90s, but is at 86.

For 1886 I'll go with 72. And for that Evolve game even lower. I never got around to trying the beta, but I'll say 68 for that one.

Never said anything. IMO the new build lighting and character model of the female character in particular looks more realistic. Just keep your eyes on her from old to new build in my pic. You also see her shadow in new pic where the old one she doesn't really have one.

Maybe they switched the location to England where more fog exists?

Ya, the old pictures of the Order looks better, if one is Witch hunting I guess.

Even X1 bias forumers like Jimmy, McMaster & I bet Flynn, can accept Order looks good (whether it is best is to be seen), & the new pictures are clear improvement, yet Intellivision continue with his one man Witchhunt to knock PS4 exclusive as best as he can, with facepalming worthy comments.
Oh maybe he is just being funny...

Did you know that the PS4 doesn't have a single AAA exclusive built for next gen at 1080p 60 fps yet the Xbox One does?
