Cool trailer, but I can't help but feel the lack of catering to Japanese tastes.
Yeah, at the least, they should have displayed her height, measurements, blood type, hobbies, and interests.
In Japan right now someone on a forum has posted a UK/US advert for a Japanese game and they are all mocking the fact that it doesn't have guns, explosions, Doritos and Mountain Dew in it.
Probably end up being the best looking game on console from what we have seen.

Right of the bat the thing that strikes me hardest is how much better the lighting looks. The animations seem to have improved also, they seem to have a much better range of motion.
While the tombs in size and look have improved greatly they seem to still be overly simplistic, and that is a shame, and was my biggest complaint with the first reboot game.
Overall all it looks really good. It seems to keep what was good about the first game, and it seems to be trying to improve the not so great things. Hopefully the Tombs will increase in difficulty as the game progresses.

Ugh, I had already pre-ordered Fallout, told myself I'll wait to play Tomb Raider but today I caved and pre-ordered that too. Will play Tomb Raider first so when I play Fallout I'm not thinking about playing Tomb Raider. Why do so many anticipated games all come out around the same time!
I already know if I bought both Tombraider would get left collecting dust. As awesome as the reboot has been and how awesome this one looks, it can not compete for my time when Fallout is in the mix.
Tomb Raider will be early 2016 purchase.
It may be premature to say the Tombs are too simple. They've only shown a couple, and they are looking more difficult/complex than in the TR 2013. That second one looks pretty good (the Solar system one, or whatever that was).
Honestly, I liked the "tombs" in the reboot, I just thought they were too small and not enough of them.
Going by that, Tombs have multiple variations. Crypts, smaller tombs, and challenge tombs. Which is cool.
I also like that you unlock abilities from tombs. Adds a more personal an rewarding reason to seek them out.
My thought process was this, play Tomb Raider first because I know that will only take me a couple of days to finish and then I can give Fallout my complete attention!
You know what they say about well laid plans.
Tomb Raider 1 is a good 15-20 hour experience, I assume this new one would be equal or more. I just don't think buying a game and rushing through it is a good idea. Why not buy it at a later date and allow it your full attention and get the best experience possible. It will be cheaper to boot.
Not really sure why I said that. It is your money and time. You can do as you please with it.
Oh I'll enjoy it and won't be rushing through it. I'm home because of health reasons and don't have a job so when I say it will take me a day or two I'll be spending most of that time playing the game. It is how I play all games. I actually played through the last Tomb Raider a couple times before moving on and then played it again when it came out for the X1. Can see myself doing that as well with this one.
I got them both coming (TR & F4) but would have waited on TR had it not been for the Amazon deal they ran for $49.99 plus some pre-order skins. I am tempted to play TR first but my heart is to jump into F4. Then again if that Pip-boy edition is selling high enough I could easily sell that off and buy just the game after I finish TR.

Same. I've already had to cancel preorder from Amazon. Maybe after Christmas time I'll be through some other games and have some time for this.It's a shame this releases on the 10th I don't know when i will get round to thismaybe a christmas present.
just put down £37 quid on this, couldn't let the hype train with ride without me......been an expensive month!
