I would bet that the BF regulars don't want a ton of "innovation". Moving back to ww2 is a huge step. I would bet most here have never played a ww2 BF game since it was only on PC way back in 2002. That plus adding battle royale is a big enough change.
As I always say, there's a core group of people who love BF games and really don't want to mess with them. I get that people that aren't really into them if you are just a casual fan. BF games can be frustrating at times as you really are just a single, insignificant soldier on a bigger battlefield.
If want to make that argument, go ahead and do it, but take it to the off-topic/political thread.Who thinks they're smarter than "everyone else" though?
I would argue there's most likely a correlation between intelligence and political beliefs.
Edit: First result that popped up on Google...

I do think that it is interesting that this is the second time you've tried comparing the intelligence of different groups; no surprise that you happen to be on the "intelligent" side of these comparisons. Is your ego that fragile that you have to stroke it so much?
I saw a video where they were saying Criterion would not confirm any solo play in BR mode. I think that would be somewhat of a mistake if they don't add that. But they haven't shown much of anything on BR so maybe something like that wouldn't fit or make sense.Depends on the BR mode.
I mean...there was Battlefield 1943 on consoles...but it was a stripped down arcade game. (it was fun however.)
Forgot about that. Did that game ever work? Didn't they just scrap it after a demo?
I finally tried the demo (D2 Forsaken has been sucking all my free time). I played a round and quit. I'm already sold lol. I'm a BF fanboy and I'm already hooked. Kind of like that it comes out right before the holiday week. I'll be playing this a ton for US Thanksgiving weekend. I may have to take that Wednesday off too.
My only worry is I hope the game isn't too grindy to unlock everything. I noticed a few people had really good guns already. They've never been good with weapon balance at all. There always seems to be 1-2 guns that dominate and they seem to be clueless what to do about it. It took them forever to figure out the Hellregel was OP in BF1.
Beta may be missing some effecting and textures. I know it happened with CoD a few years back.I have an excellent 1080p TV, but I’m having trouble seeing enemies in dark areas, especially with the lack of spotting now. I turned up the brightness and it helped some, but has anyone else had any issues with this? And if so, what changes did you make?

Every BF game this gen has made it harder to see enemies than it was in the older games IMO, I don't know if it's the lighting or what.

I thought enemies where hard to spot because the dorito symbols where gone. Honestly the game helped to much and now I have payed more attention to muzzle flash and sounds of fire and the hot spots.. I enjoy it more and feel like it takes more skil.
also reinforces working with a recon to mark them...You can still spot someone on it in a way, they turn red and will show up on the radar for a couple seconds.
If you use the left bumper, you can still yell out general locations if you see someone, and a little marker appears on the map. It's the same way you mark a conquest point. You can still spot someone on it in a way, they turn red and will show up on the radar for a couple seconds.

IT's actually a more realistic way of doing it, as you couldn't give your squadmates pinpoint accuracy, just direct them where to look. I thought it was greatYes I was using it constantly. It was helpful when trying to get teammates to look in a general direction at enemies I saw lurking. Just put down was of those yellow looking icons.
i say again....
