The sad part is that I suspect the features will be largely ignored after the first couple years. The haptics on the Xbox one controller are pretty great when used properly, but outside of Forza, no one does

The rumble in the triggers etc are quite a bit different than the stuff the DS is offering though, being able to adjust the triggers tension is going to be much more immersive than a trigger rumbling. Hopefully devs don't need to do too much work to take advantage of those features.

The haptic (not just rumble) feedback in the Xbox controllers allowed you to do tension as well. But like said above, it seems Forza was one of the only ones to take advantage of it.

I see what was common knowledge above old PS4 games coming to PC.

Nope, show me where they said that today.

What Sony HAS said:

This branding will also be making the jump to PC, as Sony's senior vice president and head of global marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment has said "any future games it releases on other platforms will also carry the branding."

“We must support the PlayStation platform — that is non-negotiable,” Layden said in an interview with Bloomberg. “That said, you will see in the future some titles coming out of my collection of studios which may need to lean into a wider installed base.”

Show us where they said it was old games. Thanks!
