The entire 343 staff have been rumored byAllison and are now too busy hip hopping through time trying to stop an apocalypse with Five.

I saw one rumor today that said they were scrapping everything and switching to UE5.
Opportunistic click baiters.

I think there was also a rumor before right after the gameplay reveal that said they started with unreal and then switched to slip space.

Makes sense, I heard 343 was infiltrated by an alien named Bigboote who was sent to prevet the GOAT Halo from being created.

It would likely release with a higher player count multi-player.
Sony doesn't do multiplayer besides Gran Turismo. GT Sport is dead online, and GT6 and older online has been discontinued. They would probably outsource the multiplayer to Microsoft.

The news that Certain Afinnity is working on the multiplayer is the best Halo news we've had in years. For those that don't know, Max Hoberman heads that studio. He led all user interface, multiplayer maps, gameplay, and online design for Halo 2 and Halo 3. He not only understands the Halo multiplayer sandbox, he helped create it. During Halo 2 devlopment, he also was instrumental in shutting down Bungies initial plans for something similar to Warzone in favor of putting all their weight behind Big Team Battle instead. Fact that he'll be behind whatever big team free to play option they're now building is extremely positive. We're probably getting good maps again.

That's true, Sony doesn't put out a lot of (if any) games with competitive multiplayer. I think its because they wisely gave up their pursuit of the shooter market and instead focused their development efforts on their strengths in narrative driven, action/adventures. MSFT has the three pillars they heavily rely on with Halo, Gears & Forza. Those games have a significant multiplayer components. Sony's titles are geared towards a different experience and it works for them. And its the biggest reason to own both consoles because both offer something the other doesn't.

that’d be cool, it’s not like they haven’t worked with either Bungie or 343 before.

Aren’t they working on a new IP of their own though?

Does MLB: The Show count?

i hope they put cardboard cutouts in the stands that you can customize with your photo or livery, and a management mode where you have to take into account for players with the rona....wonder which version of the game will have the most online players? Could Sony get stingy and stagger features and such where other platforms and pc get them a year late, after the follow up game is released?
