What movies have you seen recently?

I may be headed also, but I'm highly nervous.
I'm not even a little bit tbh. You have to reserve seats and as of now there are only two other people in the theater besides my three friends and myself. This theater is at max 50% capacity and every seat next to you is empty to help with social Distancing.

I've read local discussions on my subreddit and the few who have gone have said nothing but great things about how it's run.

If this goes well I might even go see New Mutants lol. I miss the movies so much more than anything else.

The theaters that are open within driving distance for me, are all pretty packed all showings.

I’ve never went this long without going to see a film in theater. I really miss it. Last movie we saw was 1917 back at the beginning of the year.

Just checked and our theaters are open and now showing Tenet! Hopefully going this weekend!

Are theaters letting people sit together or they making spouses sit apart? Our theaters are reserved seating just wondering if it will let me get two seats together.

Mine are spaced out, I'm sure most are similar.

Tenet makes zero sense, but I thought it was cool to watch. Definitely see it in theaters if you can / are comfortable with it.

One thing I do want to add, not only is it hard to follow, but the sound editing is AWFUL. This movie needs subtitles yesterday, and apparently that's a common complaint on the internet.

The more I’ve read spoiler free comments about the film I almost want to wait and pick it up in 4K and watch at home. Will be able to hear it and watch multiple times.

That's the last movie I saw in theaters, now that I think about it. And then TROS before that. Wow, I really didn't care for either film, TROS obviously less.

I loved 1917. Just picked it up on 4K last week looking forward to watching it again now at home.

I don't begrudge people for liking it, it just felt like a movie in service of a gimmick and it really prevented me from enjoying it because there wasn't a whole lot beyond that.

Overhyped because of its artsy 1 shot trickery. Movie was very meh.

Mulan: I miss the songs from the animated film. Also, definitely not enough fighting. Lastly, nice to see some legendary Asian actors in a big film.

Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons - Pretty good

Animated film from DC. Nice to have a backstory for a non-hero. Really makes me like Deathstroke a ton now.

Superman Man of Tomorrow: decent

I love the cell shading animation in this. The story was just okay though. That said, they did Lex and Lobo perfectly.

Heard of this on a Facebook group and I had to see it.

Kind of corny performances and characters but not to bad I guess. Amusing premise of a cursed vampiric semi-truck that runs on flesh and blood stuffed into one of the trailers.

It's an Australian film and in it hapless people who encounter it in the Outback are either victims or possessed with a desire to drive it and feed it more people. lmao

Messed up cheesy movie but was amused.

Watched a film called The Last Full Measure on Hulu late last night. Came out last year with a great cast of old actors like William Hurt, Ed Harris, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Plummer, Peter Fonda (I believe in his last role) who all give really good performances. It’s about a young DOD government employee (Sebastian Stan, Winter Soldier in the MCU) that investigates a Medal of Honor candidate from the Vietnam war 30 years before. I thought it was really damn good and surprised I haven’t heard more about it since release. Highly recommend giving it a watch.

My wife ordered me The Thin Red Line Blu Ray Criterion Collection and my sister got me the Jack Ryan movie collection on Blu Ray for my Birthday. About to watch Thin Red Line one of my favorite films of all time.

This the one about the snipers in Russia? I saw it once when it hit VHS but my mom kicked me out of the room for laughing at the sex scene.

I think I was 12 or 13.
