Agree, though I didn’t like the last one.I love Horizon but I wouldn't mind another Killzone at some point.
I would think the other game they are making would be a new IP but it certainly could be KillzoneI love Horizon but I wouldn't mind another Killzone at some point.
To set the record straight, we asked game director Mathijs de Jonge if Horizon Forbidden West was still on track to release this year, or if things had shifted away from that timeframe. "The development is on track,” de Jonge tells Game Informer. "The thing is, these are just strange times that we're all in and we have never finalized and shipped a game under these kinds of circumstances. So we are constantly calculating our schedules and looking at, ‘Okay, where are we?’ and ‘Are there any unforeseen things that might happen?’ We just want to be super confident when we announce the release date, that we're actually going to hit it. So we just need a little bit more time, and then we can come back with a final release date.”
Funny thing is that lighting that they are using on Aloy in the PS5 version seems to be a bit controversial, a lot of people want it toned down including myself. I think it's safe to say visually the game is taking advantage of PS5 nicely, probably about as much as a launch year game would have regardless of being cross gen or not.Horizon Forbidden West - PS4 and PS5 Differences Explained - IGN

Had there been no pandemic they’d probably release it within said launch year. They probably had this game in development from three to five years. And they’ve released games within or at launch before.Funny thing is that lighting that they are using on Aloy in the PS5 version seems to be a bit controversial, a lot of people want it toned down including myself. Weird. I kinda like it. It's like cinema lighting, makes it easier to see the protag, and males sure they look their best at all times.Funny thing is that lighting that they are using on Aloy in the PS5 version seems to be a bit controversial, a lot of people want it toned down including myself. I never even noticed her face looking "fat" until people started pointing it out, still doesn't bother me though. The thing with the lighting to me just makes her look a little bit like she's not part of the world, her hair always having the same lighting just stands out a bit to me. It's not a deal breaker but I think toning it down a little bit would be great.Weird. I kinda like it. I'd much rather they de-stung-in-the-face-by-a-bee Aloy, lol.
Not sure how you didn't notice the face. I watch people's faces a lot though, so maybe it is just personal, lol. Its not in proportion to the rest of her. Of course,, the proportions in the first game were off too.I never even noticed her face looking "fat" until people started pointing it out, still doesn't bother me though. Maybe they’re going more Chibi-esque to appeal to the Japanese market? Not sure how you didn't notice the face. I watch people's faces a lot though, so maybe it is just personal, lol. Its not in proportion to the rest of her. Of course,, the proportions in the first game were off too.
Still, I know I'm not the only one who noticed it, hence the memes.

It just didn't stand out to me, I'm not really checking out the girls anyway though LOL. I know a lot of people made it a thing though so it's definitely different it just didn't stand out to me. In some ways I kind of ignore the cinematics a bit I was more interested in the gameplay and her back is to the camera during that. Not sure how you didn't notice the face. And a little older than she should look. The game is taking place 8 months after the events of the first. Some angles she looks ok. Others it looks a little wider.
Ehhh, she looks like she should be serving pie in a diner. Still looks chubby face in all these angles. Looks strange to me. I mean, it doesn't match the rest of her.Aloy looks like she put on a little more weight here

But in a different angle and lighting, she looks fine.

I don't like that Denise Richards looking one either. It doesn't fit. Aloy doesn't have to look different (her actress, who she mostly resembles looks fine). She doesn't have to be "hot", she just should not look weird, lol. And she looks weird to me. Realistic does not equal ugly. I suppose it can, but damn, it's an entertainment medium. That face should look lean. She is a nimble explorer and warrior, not some basket weaver. I don't know why it's so off-putting to me lol.
Of course, my main issue with Aloy in the first game was that she was a pretty boring protagonist. Hopefully the writing is better in this one. I love the concept around it all, and the overall story is neat.
