What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

TWD World Beyond
I'm not sure yet, a couple of episodes in and I can see what they're trying to do with the "Stand by me"-theme , but the script is hit and miss, a good scene gets ruined by some cringe monologue or out-of-character lines every other minute and they're walking the Disney line of inclusiveness a bit to far imo.... But.... It's also a fairly fresh take on the zombie apocalypse with it being set in a period where things are fairly good and stable in the communities and kids can be kids while still being fully aware of the zombie threat outside the walls. And... It's zombies, can't really go wrong with me lol
They've been filming season two (or whatever it is now, I don't watch it) of that show in my city recently, I'll randomly encounter a wasteland looking set every once in a while and I keep forgetting about it. I'll see the set and be like, "damn this city is going to absolute s*** recently wtf" and then see the crew lol.

Is that the show starring the actor from Lost that played the man in black?

Cobra Kai season 3 - A little cheesy at times, but still good.

I think I'm an episode or two into that. Time to get back into it cheesy as it seems to have become. (and I mean season 3, first 2 were good)

Watched all of Sweet Tooth finally. I enjoyed it.

Been having a tough time getting hooked on anything lately.

There hasn't really been anything amazing to get hooked on. Where is the next Game of Thrones, Lost, Battlestar Galactica?

They aren't new or anything but have you watched The Expanse on Amazon or Ozark on Netfilx? their next seasons will be their last but both are great shows and have quite a few seasons behind them.

Started watching "Jann" on hulu about the singer Jann Arden, it's pretty funny.

For some reason she popped into my mind the other day (when we're in the car, my youngest loves to have the XM on Pop Rocks and hearing an Alanis song reminded me of her). Not sure I'd be interested enough to watch it but I'm surprised they'd make a show about her, but then again I guess they'll make shows about anything.

Can't get into the Expanse.

Ozark was good, but hooked? Nope. This is where the good shows fall now.

Cheers - Episode 1

Pretty awesome. Never watched Cheers before. In a weird way, I want to bang Shelley Long in that episode.

Cheers and Night Court were the old school Thursday night classics. Once you got the "family friendly" Cosby Show (Lol) and Family Ties out of the way, it was on to the really funny stuff.

So a few years back I wanted to watch Frasier because I had never seen it before, and got about a season in before I realized I didn't understand all the backstory references I was missing from Cheers. I went on a massive binge and watched all of Cheers, and man was I pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was. You can see the inspiration for so many shows just based on random episodes of the series. I will also say that some of it has aged horribly, especially the way Ted Danson treats women. Not just sexually, but he's a physically abuse person and there's like laugh tracks and s*** behind it. Not very cool tbh

I will say that the writing does have its down seasons, especially when Shelly Long leaves the show. I'd say that's a spoiler but come on the show's been over for 30 years.

My wife told me this weekend that she left the show, so that isn't a spoiler.
