I post both positive and negative in all sections of this forum thank you very much.
If people can't handle that then that's on them. I don't go into one section and only post negative. Big difference.

I am guessing Plainview is running an old 2022 version of the forum software. Probably will get upgraded in 2025.
Yup, same here. Just today I had come in posted that the Xbox exclusive CrossfireX is now DOA, and a couple days ago I posted that God of War sold 11 million.
This is one forum that doesn't need all the back and forth. It's the best game forum on the web, period. That's not subjective. It's fact.

The funny thing is I brought up something that was ON TOPIC and get a bunch of nonsense for it, do mods ever say anything to the people making the personal attacks? Nope! You did kind of once during one of Val and Menace's issues and rightfully pointed out that Val wasn't the only problem there and it takes two to make that happen but that was about it.
What I said was about this game, it's not about xbox or Microsoft, it's a Bethesda game, MS owns them now but I highly doubt they've had anything to do with the actual development of the title it's all Bethesda.
Show me some gameplay of State of Decay 3 looking like a AAA game, actual Everwild gameplay and Fable 4 looking good and I'll have all kinds of positive things to say. I don't think it's asking a lot to see some gameplay when they were announced almost 3 years ago or in Everwilds case over 3 years ago.
What other news is there for me to comment on positively lately? disappointing earnings? layoffs? seeing games we've already seen before? I said Forza looked good graphically, it looks better than GT7 as far as I can tell but just like GT7 I won't be buying it because I'm not into racing games.

I love this world of black and white some of you seem to live in, it's love it all or you hate it vs liking some things and not others.
I think you can prefer one side much like many of you do here and also like some of the stuff the other side is doing. For example... I am sure everyone here knows I prefer most of Sony's narrative games vs Xbox's and Xbox's MP games over Sony's. On the flip side, some of Xbox narrative games are also enjoyable to me while some of Sony's are not.
At the end of the day, it's just games. No need to overuse any remaining brain power trying to convince others to like what you like.

Eh....it's more nuanced than that.
It is the difference between not like the platform vs not preferring the games that are releasing on the platform currently.
You can like a platform but just not like most of the games on it. JinCA probably just has a very distinct taste for certain games that are MAINLY on the PlayStation platform. Completely understandable.
I have a distinct taste for games on the PC platform, but will give credit when credit is due for games releasing on the PS5. Hence why I have the system. I can be critical without being overbearing when the PS5 goes through a dry spell or releases turds like Forespoken.
It is a fine line between critical and fanboy that more people in this forum would do well to observe.
Must be because the PS platform is 95% 3rd person action/adventure games. It actually has very little diversity. Even within that genre the lack of diversity continues.
Give Xbox as much crap as you want, but they have far more diversity.
Although, not sure how you like a gaming platform that has nothing you like to play on it. Makes no sense at all. It is like saying you like Coca Cola but don't like how it tastes.
Well if seeing games we have seen before is a reason not to be positive then how can you like Playstation? Half of their this gen line up is old games we saw plenty of and beat years ago. Not too mention Sony are masters at announcing games, showing them for years, and showing nothing of new stuff.
This sort of thing right here is why you get the label that you get. It is a double standard.

How about it is 2023 and Xbox is getting a slew of games, Hi-Fi Rush Age of Empires 2 & 4, Starfield, Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Reboted Forza Motorsport, STALKER 2(Hopefully), etc. How about some positivity here?
Plenty to be positive about. Even I'm positive about it and I spent the entire last gen blasting Xbox.
