What movies have you seen recently?

Few that I watched
Polar- Popcorn B-rate action flick. A bit over the top, and doesn't take itself too serious. Mads Millelsen will make a good solid snake if they ever make a show about Metal gear.

Viking wolf:
There is a saying, every genre, ideas has been done, so you have to combine at least 2 ideas to make a movie now.
This Norweigen show combine werewolf and zombie-like spread by infection & done a decent job to make a show. B-rate.

Black crab:
Starred Niami Papace from the original the girl with the dragon tattoo, & probbaly more well know in US for palying a scientist in Prometheus.
Its took place in an unknown apolcaptic winter place, with an unknown enemy, & event that led to it unknown ( a bit like the latest top gun). Its up to your imagination to fill the details. Without giving too much away. The story started with mission to delivered a war victory package to a location via a frozen sea.
There are some moral delimma akin to like atomic bombs on Japan. Decent B-flick.,
Good Swedish actress that Noiumo Pracap.

The OG Girl with the dragon tattoo was better also, I have all three books, I bought & read them before the movies were made. The 2 sequels are not as good as the original though.

I saw the actor that play the detective Michael Nyqvist when I was in stockholm, in a bar. Sad he passed away.

Yes, I once sold him a temporary TV subscription when I worked at the Home Electronic store on the island of Lidingö just outside of Sthlm, very quiet guy even in Sweden where no one cares if you're a celebrity. I think he was a villain in a Mission Impossible movie if a recall correctly. Good actor.
Anyway, I never read the books but saw all of the OG movies in the cinema, yes, the sequels was meh.

See How They Run - what a stinker. Only made it through the first 30.

Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania - I rather enjoyed it to be honest. Strangely, this one put humour to the back of the que and made Ant-Man a little more serious. CGI critics wont be too happy.

Kang is excellent.

Not top tier Marvel but I enjoyed this far more than pretty much every phase 4 movie.

I don't think I've seen the remake since the theater, but I recall it being entertaining. I totally forgot Antoine Fuqua directed it.

M3gan (unrated version) - Streaming on Peacock now. Entertaining, the unrated version seemed relatively tame though, I imagine the theatrical version was completely void of blood.

Even in the comic books, it is hard to top the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, even after all of these years. The films since Infinity War have been just filler.
Phase 1—3 has a build up to characters and the infinite gaunlet sage. Phase 4 and now Phase 5 are all over the place, and the new heroes, changes,I am not sure as likable, and they are getting more cringe and bad writing. I almost felt like getting my money back after watching eternal. I think I can write a better story at 12.

Caddyshack is average!? I still love that movie, so many great lines.
I went into with high expectations from friends and family bragging about it all my life. I just never got around to watching it. Needless to say, I was let down. Not as let down as I was watching the OG Ghostbusters.

I am a massive Chevy fan, and he wasn't that great in this one. Bill Murray wasn't great either. I did find that Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield were excellent though.
