What a pile of sh*t on PC. Changed all of the settings and it didn't affect FPS at all. Lowered the resolution to 1080p and it lowered my FPS. Uninstalled.
I didn't realize today was the 28th! Gonna play when I get home! I had it pre-loaded on my XSX. May the force be with me!
From the few comments online (ie Twitter/Reddit) and reviewers who’ve played it on Xbox and or comparing it to it have stated that it runs best there, granted there’s still some gameplay bugs but it’s still smoother visually. But I believe they may all been pre day one patch
I have it preloaded but I bought the stupid collectors edition, with the lightsaber, and don’t recall if it includes a disc or code
To be fair, some people replied back saying their experience on console has been fine thus far. Not saying there isn't a problem. There is.
I personally haven't heard of any big console performance issues until this post.
There is suppose to be a launch day patch, but I haven't seen one on XBox yet.

It's never going to change anytime soon. Most reviewers warned of the PC issues. That should've been a red flag there. The best thing to do is not buy it.
It's still odd that it got favorable reviews though despite the obvious issues. I know ACG and Gerstman stopped playing. I think that's a good move on their part. However, outlets rather get something out there despite all this.
If you are hell bent on playing on PC...just wait after some patching. I know it sucks. I still think consoles are acceptable at the moment. I'm sort of waiting for the day 1 patch and then I'll load it up on XSX.

I guess the day 1 patch was already "bundled" with the initial install if purchased online (via console)? But if you bought a disk then it would need patching.

I don't understand what you are after. So many factors are missing from here. Who bought digitally? 1 store where 1 brand out sold vs. another via pre-orders? So, MS shuts down based on this "official" tweet? Or the fact that I'm responding is what the point is?
It's simple supply and demand. Physically at least much more demand thus more shipped.
Digitally, PlayStation just revealed they are 70% digital to 30% physical from latest financials so it's not like their digital sales are that much worse in general.
It's just interesting to see that's all in relation to this game and how much has changed.

Told you like a billion times. Xbox has a higher digital buy through than Playstation.
