2014 Titles That You're Excited For..

Well, another year is upon us and that means some new titles. 2014 is an exciting year for it's the first full year for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The initial response for both consoles has been overwhelmingly positive and this year can only make our purchases more worthwhile.

Anyway, to get this started: What 2014 titles are you looking forward to most? It can be for all platforms (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, 3DS, and Vita).

I am not entirely sure what will actually come out in 2014 because I am sure there will be delays and surprise titles that make their way into the 2014 lineup, but for now, here is my list:

1. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
2. Titanfall
3. Destiny
4. Watch Dogs
5. Halo 5
6. Sunset Overdrive
7. The Division
8. Dying Light
9. Mario Kart 8
10. Bayonetta 2

And my most anticipated game: (which probably won't even come out in 2014, but who knows?)

Mirror's Edge 2

Will I be getting all of these titles? No, definitely not. I am a graduate student with other responsibilities, but I am hoping for maybe 3-4 on this list.

So, how does your list look?



I thought this would have been up already. I searched the forums and didn't find anything. Mod, please lock if there's already something posted.
 
In no specific order:

  • Titanfall
  • Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Destiny
  • The Division (if it releases in 2014)
  • Project Spark
  • Alien: Isolation
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Those are the titles I'm currently thinking I'll definitely be getting. Probably more will be added to the list as the year progresses (and possibly 1 or 2 taken off).

Most anticipated: The Division with Witcher 3 coming in a close second.
 
For me it almost starts and ends with Dark Souls 2 as i have just been that big of a fan of that series.

I do have interest in MLB the Show, Watch Dogs, Elder Scrolls online, Destiny, The Evil Within and Deep Down.

I'm getting Fable Anniversary and Plants vs Zombies next month, but other than Destiny I haven't thought to far ahead.

Forgot to add it, but I'm also looking forward to seeing how Elder Scrolls Online turns out and maybe seeing how Killer Instinct expands. I'm also interested to see if the WWE game can expand under the 2K umbrella. It's no secret that I loved WWE 2k14 and it'd be great to see them do more with the foundation they've laid.

Can't say I've paid too much attention as to what is coming out this year, but I'm very much looking forward to Infamous and Destiny.

I'm also excited to see how Elder Scrolls Online shapes up. I'd like to say I'll play it, but with the sub I unfortunately don't see that happening.

Honestly, odds are that the game will eventually go free-to-play sometime in the future. Which reminds me, I'd love to see Stars Wars: The Old Republic game be ported to the consoles.

Is there another Borderlands announced? Or are you talking about that thing from Telltale?

ATM the only games I'm really looking forward to are Titanfall, The Division, Dark Souls 2 and perhaps Destiny.
