2014's Upcoming PS4 games

well never say I did not post on here
I have in the past
you do the games for them
and I will keep doing the games for the Xbox
but minus all the pretty pics

my information is gathered from a variety of sites lots and lots of sites

and as long as I get free games on my ps, I will not be buying new ones
any time soon

I did not do the indies, just retail
I do ditto on Xbox
my way of doing this takes a lot of time and I do not borrow from a website
as they are often wrong time wise
but Andy has this under control and I will stick with doing the Xbox and creating a new one each month
 
I'll go ahead and split the PS3 games off into a different thread, if you don't mind. That is useful info for someone just gaming on a PS3, and they wouldn't think to look for it here.
 
Can't believe there is looking to be too many games for me to play in the Summer season! Was going to get several games this month alone, but I think I need to back off now. I haven't even had time to play Child of Light yet and with MLB out Tuesday followed closely by Watch Dogs and Transistor, there is no chance I will have time for them all. Looks like this gen is running at full steam now.
 
From those that are listed for the remainder of 2014 and one that's not (Fifa 15) I will only be buying 4 games for sure and a further 2 if I like the reviews and or gamer perception for the remainder of the year across both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One:

Day One:

Fifa 15 (PS4)
Call Of Duty (Xbox One)

Maybe:

Destiny (Xbox One)
NHL 2K15
Wolfenstein (Xbox One)
UFC. (Xbox One)
Watch Dogs (PS4)

That's the lot. Console of choice my change dependent on reviews. I know the Playstation offers the better multi-plats but I need some games for the One also. $500 brick at the moment, should use it as a door stop.

I know some will talk about the lack of games, but i am impressed i still have this many games of interest remaining in 2014.
 
So as it stands it looks like the only PS4 games I got coming this year is DriveClub, NHL 15, and a big maybe on Destiny. Need to spray some Pledge on the console.

Madden 15 is cross-gen apparently.

I'm not worried, still lots of good multiplatform games on PS4.
 
Yeah, 90% of games are multi-platform. Exclusives are just the desert. Desert is a little thin this year, but they're still serving up the main course.

I can always tell I'm hungry when I start talking in food metaphors.

In terms of their big games, people shouldn't expect anything new for 2014 unless it's a remake at this point.

Sony doesn't show "BIG" games at E3 that will be released during the same year as the conference itself. That's not their style. Their "BIG" game reveals always happen 1-2 (or more) years before the games are released.
 
Not exactly PS4 exclusive, but it's not on Xbox One.

Long-running motorcycle racing sim series MotoGP will make its PlayStation 4 debut this month in Europe, developer Milestone announced this week.

Announced back in March, MotoGP 14 will be the first series entry to hit the PlayStation 4 alongside ports for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita and PC platforms. MotoGP 14 will feature more than 100 real-world riders and 18 playable racetracks across included Career, Time Attack, and online multiplayer modes.

MotoGP 14 will launch in Europe on June 20. Developer Milestone notes that a North American version is in the works, and a release date will be announced soon.
 
MotoGP was the first game I played on XBL -- the first game most XBL users played on XBL, I'd venture to say.
 
I'm still trying to see what game will get me to buy the PS4. It might be The Order.

I'm not knocking the PS4. I just happened to choose XB1 because of the launch titles. None of the exclusive indie titles will make be purchase the PS4 because I'll just play them on the PC.

Believe the XB1 needs some games too.

Good news is I still have a backlog of some old games.
 
There are a few full-length games and half a dozen indie games that I'd like to play, but I haven't quite reached that point where I have to have one. I know it'll happen in the next few months, though.

2014 is all about the 3rd party games and I'm happy with that because they look f'n amazing. Evolve or Destiny are likely GOTY's.

Gosh, I dunno why but i keep forgetting about evolve, maybe because i'm not 100% sure about it, but i'm definitely interested... I'll probably hit up destiny, i'm actually pretty into shadow of mordor, was gonna get arkham knight, and i'll undoubtedly be getting Far Cry 4....
