Next Halo campaign is reportedly in development at 343 Industries
343 Industries reportedly has a dedicated team of developers working on a new campaign featured in the next Halo game, will be built in Unreal Engine.

Sad to see more more studios move away from in house unique engines to use garbage UE. *sigh*
I’m willing to bet it won’t be on unreal, especially if it’s open world….if they do they’ll probably wait for the coalition, ninja theory and rare to do all the hard work first.

Well, if Coalition has a hand in helping, it might since they usually help others with the engine. Just like that Matrix demo ?
The coalition may be the only dev with the most hands on knowledge of unreal engine outside of epic. Most are former epic devs, engineers and former employees. And they’ve all have traded tech/knowledge with other devs, in and outside of Xbox. I think the only other studio with as much research of the studio would be ninja theory.
Honestly the coalition should spin off a support studio to aid them all with their dev tech/knowledge. Hey they’re Canadian, might wanna give them a look
I don’t think anyone at abk has any unreal devs, cod is based on the quake engine.
The coalition kinda had to help with the matrix demo, doubt epic wanted to take anyone off of fortnite to work on it. That and it showed trust that they could showcase what they’ve been working on.
Honestly just make the next halo in Minecraft, as a rogue lite and call it a day.
