Halo has taken a back seat due to having more IPs to show now. But a 30s or 1 min trailer about the new season should have been shown to let people know the game is still being worked on.

True, people at fanfest, whilst in line, were talking and expecting one to be shown. But I guess it was more themed for new games, new ip, surprises and just answers to highly anticipated games that have had no details released since first announced.

But it dies maybe a bit more sense since it was shown during their stream, at the end of the week (wtf, why not ride that hype wave?)
 
Hopefully they stop trying to make a game with a teen rating and go mature for the future. I assume the audience trends older than the likes of CoD.

I forget the reason why it was pushed to an m rating in the first place.

Am I ok with it being a t rating, yeah, sure.

Would I love a halo game with an m rating that was grounded and grittier like reach or odst, hell yeah I would.

Play as a human, but have access to some human, covenant and forerunner artillery….hell throw in some “the created” weapons in there too, I’m sure they made some.

Maybe when you use a needles you see some pierce or rip through, leaving trails of blood or outfit and skin tearing off or exploding into bits

I want to see doom levels of gore in a halo game lol. I want to see a spartan punch a grunt's face and the fist come out the back side of the grunt's head.

I've enjoyed all Halos, could even say I love the series... but... if they want it to become the iconic series it once was again, they'll need to ditch 343 and reboot it.
Not saying it needs to though, I've loved every campaign thus far, but my opinion matters as much as Shawn's in the grand scheme of things.

I feel like they need a hard reboot. Would be weird tho if they got different voice actors, but I’m sure there’s some out there that could work.

I’m afraid Arnold Schwarzenegger is too old to play chief but he could play captain Keyes.
