I am surprise you never list Chuck. But I think the show start to lose it charms after he gain super abilities instead of just being Intersect.
 
Lesser known, but if you like me, can't get enough of more realistic political stuggle shows base on medieval period, the White queen is passable, & Pillar of the earth, & the world without end by Ken Follett are both wonderful.

I got nothing to add to that good list. Except for Boardwalk Empire (amazing) and The Blacklist.

Intelligence sucks so bad the English language has yet to form a worthy word to describe it. Same goes for tomorrow people and lost girl.

Pushing Daisies. It's such a shame that the writer's strike killed what I would rank the second best show to be ended way to early. It's actually the first now that Arrested Development came back. It just edges out Firefly.

Firefly. Ended WAY too early. It has a rabid fanbase that is just dying to get another couple of seasons. The movie, Serenity, was a worthy addition to the franchise. Nathan Fillion will routinely reference his Firefly character, Mal, on his show Castle.

Supernatural. I had initially dismissed Supernatural. I saw it was on the WB and thought it had to suck. I've been hooked since the first episode. I just love the show and DVR it. It's like a new wave X-Files but with a ton more humor that fits very nicely into the show's world.

Sons of Anarchy. Another show I dismissed. It's a brutal show and it's crazy what they show on TV. It's very well acted and there are many of an epic episode that comes out of nowhere. It doesn't matter when the episode is. It could be in the beginning, middle or end of the season. It's just awesome.

I actually do. It wasn't anything like what I expected it to be going by the title and description. Good acting, decent writing, some good characters. Has a good blend of politics and Law. Great stuff.
