I'd been smoking fags for 23 years till last month when I started vaping.
Ain't had a f** since :cool:

Anyone else gave up smoking by vaping?

Vaping for those that don't know is a way of inhaling nicotine without the stinky tobacco smoking :confused:
 
Never done it but I don't smoke. I did hear something about them being unsure of any potential long term side effects because nobody has been exposed to long term use yet. What I would say is that any side effects can hardly be worse than smoking.
 
Just started a week ago as a hookah alternative for when out drinking haha.

What I vape is 70% Propylene Glycol 30% Vegetable Glycerine
The organic stuff is 70% VG 30% PG I think
More healthy apparently but PG has never killed anyone :txbsmile:

When I drink I usually smoke. I bought one (cigarette sized) so I wouldn't have to. I don't remember what brand it is, but it does an okay job. I have a few friends who have bigger/more powerful ones and I think they're better, but I don't engage it enough to carry something bigger or refill it by hand.
 
Yep, been vaping steady for about 3-4 months, i used to be a regular smoker now i just light up every once in a while, still enjoy cigarettes but i just dont buy em anymore.

I got a vape built from ebay parts, and get juice locally. Vivi Nova V3 3.5ml tank, and an ego 510 battery, using a 2.8ohm wicks.

Yep. E-cigarettes. Mixture of propylene glycol (or some veggie based hippie alternative), nicotine and flavor. It has been around for a few years but is only starting to get 'big' now, since they're getting into convenience stores and gas stations.

I don't know a ton about it, but e-cigarettes are just small vaping machines in a cigarette form factor. They get really big and elaborate, at which point you call them vaping devices.

It doesn't have the same kick as a cigarette but it can come in all kinds of flavors, including fruits and tobacco. It's a de facto alternative to smoking (You can slowly dial down the amount of nicotine in the solution you use), although it's sort of in a legal gray area. You can't advertise it as a smoking cessation product.

already thinking about upgrading to a variable voltage though haha.
 
First day on the patch was my last day smoking. That was 2 years ago and I've never had a cigarette since then.

There can be multiple factors involved in that. What model they have, what voltage they're running at, the type of atomizer used, and the nicotine density of the liquid they're using.
