Anyone else have noisy ducks in the neighborhood?

These guys like to party all night long or something because they never stop quacking through the night. Especially those damn swans! All they do is snort and drink while causing the noisiest riots you've ever heard. They make for great decoration though. So everybody puts up with them. A very fashionable neighborhood we are.
 
Lucky you! I have a noisy train to deal with in my backyard. Lol
 
We don't have ducks here, but we got something else -cigarette eating pigeons. The nicotine leftovers combined with the polution from the city and the socialistic culture has turned pigeons into a public menace. They don't move for NOBODY. They are like flying door stoppers that can spread disease

Unfortunately I think every neighborhood has its own noisy ducks.
 
There's a daycare 2 doors down.

About a year ago they took on a brother and sister.. the brother chases the sister around for about 6 hours a day going "RAWWR" and the little girl screams at the top of her lungs.

The daycare people often aren't even visible.. I called and complained once.. the lady was an idiot.. she even admitted to me that sometimes she goes into her basement and closes to door to find some "peace and quiet." I said.. "Well you let those kids run around literally screaming at the top of their lungs all day, there is no place in my house where I don't hear it even if I close all of my windows." "That's just how kids are."

I work from home a lot so it's especially annoying. I literally crank the thermals up on my gaming PC to make white noise in my office to drown it all out.
 
crap. I was going to make a "they don't have noisy ducks in france" joke with a fois gras picture attached. But looking at them... makes me sad:(

That's pigeons in any urban area really, plus you get all the idiots that feed the flying rats. In the town I live, in the downtown area there is children's park and a neat little fountain area that's been over run by pigeons. There's this stupid lady who feeds them incessantly, its to the point the pigeons land on her and eat from her hands, it's ridiculous.
 
In Michigan, we periodically have roaming seagull mobs that move around to different parking lots looking for dropped food. Obviously there are always more the closer you get to the lakes, but sometimes they'll randomly come inland

We live in a very wooded area with a marsh/pond behind our house and have lots of wild life but there have been a ton of turkeys this year and are constantly in our yard. My dog thinks turkey poop is a nice treat! Try to scope out the yard before I take her out to try and see where it is before she can eat it. And yes, the ducks and geese out at the marsh are quite loud!
