Anyone else unreasonably excited for PS4/XBone?

I hope I always get unreasonably excited for a console launch....never want that fealing to go away no matter how old I get.
 
i'm not really excited to be honest. i'm pretty meh about the coming generation.

honestly doesn't feel like a new gen. Was expecting more in terms of hardware from both sides.

I'm with Joon on this one. I have a ton of 360 games in my backlog and I just purchased a PS3 a month ago(I bought it on clearance. I haven't owned one before.)

But I am still excited to hear experiences and can't wait for that time.
 
Not really excited. There aren't any exclusives on either console side that make me want to tear my away from my PC. Especially when the visual fidelity is what I've been playing the past few years anyway. I have a ps4 pre-ordered just so I can play some games with friends that don't PC game. I am however unreasonably excited for VR to finally make its way into the consumer world.
 
I'm excited for the new Xbox, I have one reserved but I just started a new job this week and money is going to be tight for the next couple months so now I might not be able to get it day one so that sucks. Worst case scenario I'll have it right after Xmas, my mom and fiancee are the only 2 people that buy for me and I am telling them gamestop gift cards and nothing else:)
 
I was excited before the DRM scandal of the new Xbox. Now that's been removed (for now) but Kinect is still in and the thing is $500 U.S. Dollars, despite being less powerful than the PS4. All those things combined simply left me indifferent for the console.

I'd be more excited for the PlayStation, but nothing I've seen excites me. I'm sure it'll have it's selection of great games, but at this point there's no excitement for that console either.

I'm sure this is somehow Nintendo and Apple's fault. The motion control fad of the Wii led to Kinect which spawned so many bad games, and the Apple store selling DRM titles for $0.99 got Microsoft greedy I'm sure.
