Anyone use Fandango.com for movie tickets?

Short but sweet. Got Fandango gift cards for x-mas. Want to use them, never used Fandango though. How's the experience? Short, sweet, and painless?

Since you have a gift card, use it. It's painless. Other than that, there's no reason to use it since they charge you a $1 surcharge for each ticket.

Thanks for that one, didn't know about the surcharge. I definitely won't be using them once the giftcards are all done.

It's a "convenience fee". XD

I never got charged one in the past because AMC theaters have an annual "Stubs card" membership you can buy that will waive the fee.

But a Regal cinema opened near me recently, and it's so much more everything than the AMC theater. Nicer, cleaner, roomier, etc. No more AMC for me.
