I just saw bits as it streamed, and caught what looked like a magnetic plug like on MacBook Pro….would suck if they wouldn’t allow third parties make one or an adapter for it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t (unless it’s apple certified like lightning cables)

Frick, they’ll probably do that to their car 😆

Battery cable is unique, but it looks like it’s either lightning or USBc at the battery. You can see the cable is removable. Originally I thought it was permanent attached.

Hopefully it is just a usbc cable, looks like it just has that holster for reinforcement so the wire doesn’t fail like most lighting cables where it’s plugged into the wall adapter
 
Battery life sucks. But with all that is going on, all those cameras, processors, etc. I am surprised it lasts as long as it does. I am guessing technology will get it to 8 hours in a few years.

This is essentially the Tesla roadster before they release the s and then the 3….hopefully they stick to the Tesla theme and that port is compatible with all of them.
 
My new BMW has hand gestures, but I ain't using that s***.
