Are you ready to Evolve? (Feb 2015)

Just the option sometimes I don't want to hear screaming kids in my ear. I also do like bots.
 
Evolve Delayed To February 2015
Yet another game won't be making it this fall—publisher 2K Games has delayed their co-op shooter Evolve to February of next year, the company announced during a financial statement today.

Evolve will now be out on February 10, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

This comes in the wake of a string of other high-profile 2014 delays, including Battlefield: Hardline, delayed from fall 2014 to early 2015, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, delayed from October to November of this year.

Wow, another delay. I don't think any of us saw this coming. A bit sad too, cause they have been screaming October for months now. It just f***ing sucks, even the games you least expect to get delayed...and it happens. Dragon Age f***ing better not get delayed again...that is the one title i want so bad this year.
 
February is going to be a pretty heavy month, not as bad as October but the Witcher 3, The Order:1886 and others are coming out that month. I don't know of any MP specific games coming out in Feb other than Evolve so maybe it was a good move to delay it.
 
After not being to excited about this game to getting to actually playing it via the PC Alpha its one of my most anticipated now So after hearing this news NOOOOOOO!!!!

Delayed just like a lot of other high profile games... a trend seems to be forming.

I think E3 was the first time i heard of Evolve. So the delay doesn't really matter to me. Looks like a fun game. I'll give it a try when it finally comes out.
 
Good, delay this so I have more time with Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Master Chief Collection, Drive Club and a slew of multiplatform titles.
 
I have a hard time caring about delays in general since i always have so much to play. Unless it's a game i'm dying to play it can wait. I always thought it was funny when people got all up in arms last gen every time a PS3 game got delayed. Like there wasn't enough to play anyway. lol
 
Really? Another game delay if sunset od and halo mc and dragon age gets pushed to next year I'm going to lose it.
 
Damn, that's what a "next-gen" game should look like. The high-poly models, advanced shaders, motion blur and general post-processing effects, and that grass! Event the animation looks great! Fantastic!
What engine is this using?

I'm kinda glad it got pushed back- should make it easier to pick up next year- especially since that is usually a slow release period. Actually, I bet that's why they pushed it- get it past the high-profile releases.

Don't think the next-gen consoles could push these graphics like in the video right now. Maybe a dialed down version.

The game looks really good. We had good games in the Alpha (Me, Valliance, Aqua Snake, Ketto). The game is running...wait for it... Cryengine 4.

I'm glad it's delayed. Oct/Nov is still busy enough.
