Fromsoft also put out a statement that surprised me. I thought this game would be a one-off, released with not much in the way of post launch support. But that doesn't seem to be the case since they said more balance changes could be on the way and much more.....hope for dlc is alive.
Fromsoft also acknowledged that they knew from the beginning that this game wouldn't post Elden Ring numbers. But AC6 surpassed any other AC game from the past. Armored Core may turn out to be a key new addition in their growing portfolio of franchises.

According to Pater's Japanese VA, Armored Core VI has sold 2.8 million copies worldwide to date

Needless to say this is by far the best sales performance for any Armored Core Game to date. None of the previous titles were reported as selling anywhere close to a million, with the top performers (AC2 and AC3) being maybe close to 500k worldwide if one is very generous with their incomplete western sales data.
