Well, the Series S version of this update is bad.

Game now has a horrible flicker on track side objects like trees and fences. Couple that with them not fixing the shadow pop in on track side objects and it is horrible.

Performance in the rain is terrible. Feels more like 30FPS than 60FPS.

Now have ghosting in replays.

Very disappointed.

Sounds unplayable. I guess I will wait for a patch for the patch. Good thing I am going through Forbidden West right now.

With how disappointing GT7 has been I decided to buy this last night. Just ran about 10 laps each on three laps in Practice to get a handle on it. Game feels pretty good and I like that it provides feedback on how you take each corner and lap. The one thing I hope to improve is low speed turning. Seems to be very touchy on the controller. There are a few different settings for it but not sure what they do yet.

I think menace gave me great settings for that long ago.

menace-uk- got any suggestions for controller setup to cutdown on the wheel going apes*** at low speeds?
I use...

Speed Sensitivity - 40
Steer Filter - 99
Steer Speed - 49
Steer Gamma - 1.5

Or...

Speed Sensitivity - 30
Steer Filter - 99
Steer Speed - 80
Steer Gamma - 4.0

Also looks like they updated it today. Not sure what it fixed but supposedly online which I haven't tried yet. Also curious on DLC as I see some stuff is locked for me and there is a new one coming Wednesday as well.

if you want more tracks then

The Intercontinental pack adds four, Kyalami, Suzuka, Laguna Seca, Bathurst Mount Panarama.
The British GT pack adds, Oulton Park, Donnington, and Snetterton.

The GT World dhallenge pack only has Imola but has 2 new cars unlike the others.

The Wednesday DLC is only for PC (will come to console later). Think it is called the Challenger Pack.

The steering did seem to help. I don't know which one of the settings it is, but it added a lot of delay. Either way using your settings was a good baseline to go off to get rid of the low speed touchiness.

Which one you using?

Which one you using?
I'm in between both of them. I wasn't sure what the default settings were and resetting bindings didn't seem to do it, so ended up just setting something in the middle. Ran a few laps around Spa and felt pretty good.

You either highlight the setting you want then Dpad left or right or you press A and Dpad left or right. I think, lol.

I haven't played the game since they announced the game is getting a big tire model & physics update later this year.

I couldn’t get it to work :(. Oh well.

This 1.8 update is pretty awesome. Everything feels smoother, more refined.

They also fixed the horrible shadow pop in finally.
