'Avatar: The Last Airbender' showrunner Albert Kim discusses what made him say yes to making a live-action version of the beloved animated series for Netflix.
Albert Kim, the showrunner of the live-action 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' opens up about making the series without the original creators: "My first reaction after ‘Hell yeah!’ was ‘Holy s---! Do I really want to do this?'"
Yeah that stunt viz looks cool but don’t think that’s from the actual show as this was ages ago. Plus they’ll be in big trouble for posting it if it was because of NDA etc
looks great though. i hope the director and showrunners pay attention to the stunt viz if they are good, cos a lot of times they say oh that’s cool then shoot it completely different and then the action turns out bad…(looking at you IronFist)
Watched the first couple episodes, the effects and sets are top notch, some of the best I've seen for TV, not sure if the lead 3 have the charisma to carry the episodes, supporting cast seems decent.
Can see this getting picked apart by the rabid fanbase.
The streamer's take on the beloved animated series centers on a young boy tasked with saving the world by mastering all four elements: earth, air, water and fire.
Never seen the cartoon although I am aware of it, watched the first episode and I'll keep watching. I like the concept of the people controlling different elements etc and the case is likeable enough.
