Batman: Arkham Knight Aiming for Graphics Parity Across Xbox One and PS4

Well, I own an Xbox One so I guess it doesn't matter but even if I owned a PS4 (only) I wouldn't care. Too pumped for the game and am too much of a fan of the series.

Another "Aiming for parity" thread, why ? It is simple common sense to assume they will be aiming for that.
 
I want 1080p. A city of this size will lose details in the distance if they opted for 900p.
 
Glad to see they are all trying to squeeze as much out of the consoles as they can. Not surprised, with the power being so close.
 
Don't skimp Rocksteady. If the new Batman game has mobs of AI running around, leave it in if the gameplay holds well. Don't cut the NPCs in half or dumb down the atmosphere for parity.
 
I don't think anyone is going to care when this game comes out. It's going to be so damn good. But Batman games always looked and performed better on PS3. It's one of the few franchises the developers got right and didn't worry about parity. If PS3 was the lead console last gen every game would have achieved parity or been better on PS3 since it was more powerful. Kind of like this gen. PS4 is more powerful and lead platform, X1 is chasing parity and having a hard time catching it.

It will continue forever. This "Aiming for parity" always existed. Just seems people nowadays want to take it the wrong way.

At the rate of all these games reaching parity now, MS is surely to run out of money soon. We should start taking up a collection.

Clearly it is just lazy devs not taking advantage of the PS4s superior power.:)

One of them will certainly have more or less pixels than the other. And boy howdy, I cant wait to hop on a interweb soap box and shout from the mountain tops about how those 5 extra pixels and three extra frames really changed the whole experience for me.
