We have a general bargain-hunter thread, but I thought I'd create one just for Black Friday deals.

Here's a nice deal for anyone looking for a PS3: Target will have a $199 PlayStation 3 250GB bundle featuring The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins.

Also, MW mentioned that Gamestop will be offering 1-year PS+ subscriptions for $30.

Target has buy 2 get 1 free all games including PS4 this week! I wish they did this next week for the Xbox One, im sure they wont have any Xbox One games this week.

Too bad the design of the super slim PS3 sucks huge balls

I'd probably be all over that just to have another PS3.

Pretty much this. If there's something amazing at the major retailers for black friday I'll attempt to get it through their websites (but most of those deals are in store only anyway). But I'm not going to wait in lines for hours in the bitter cold just to be put in a situation where I'll want to shoot no less than half a dozen people when the store opens. I like my money and I crave good deals, but not enough to spend my life in prison for murdering some greedy a******.

Wish I hadn't already paid off my preorders, I'd be all over this. Of course, I traded in old games for most of my preorders, so I'm probably getting a few of those free as well.
 
not seeing any Xbox One or ps4 stuff in any of these ads, to bad, i always get a few games on black friday but I do not want any 360 stuff
 
let me ask those of you who have taken advantage of BF/CM in recent years.

Newegg has the Western Digital 1TB Black HDD on sale for $75, it's normally $90 everywhere I've looked. It goes off sale on the 28th. What are the chances that I'll get an even better deal (say $60?) on BL/CM?

I'm subscribed to New Egg's email deals, and that price seems like a discount they do each month (Meaning not that big of a discount). You'll probably score a better deal during Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
 
I might try to work on Black Friday night. Lots of co-workers do it because it's extra pay, and you get to work security, which will be a little different, plus who knows, that might help me get a security job one day.

Also, can you guys hook a brother up with that bargain hunters thread link? I tried searching for it and I think it's a bit lost in the forum pages. Maybe just a keyword so that it'll come up because I tried using the search engine here with bargain, bargain hunter, and bargain-hunter, but no dice.
 
I'm pretty certain (90%) that I'm going to jump on this for the price (all told it's a $55 price cut after rebate) but I wanted to get some input first.

Anyone think I'm likely to see a better price? I know most people would be like "Pfft, maybe $20" but those $20 add up to me being able to get my 120/144hz monitor sooner or getting a dedicated 7.1 sound card.

Thanks in advance for any replies/advice.

Just made bank from Amazon on Beyond: Two Souls. They had a lightning deal for $25. However I forgot that I had a promotion for the game from trading in video games earlier, so it knocked the game down to $5.

Bought special edition The Great Gatsby for my gf for a Christmas present. Got it for $4.
 
Last night I picked up a back up Xbox 360 slim for $99 at Wal-Mart. I've still got so many 360 games to play.
 
Not amazing deals, but good ones IMO.

I got 16GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866 RAM for $135 (after rebate), I got the HX850 PSU for $100 (after rebate) and the Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD for $180.

All I need to finish my initial build is the GPU (going with 1 780 for now, get the second in 2 weeks), Noctua NH-U14S CPU Cooler, a DVD/Blu Ray drive of some kind and a copy of Win 8.
