IMO Black Friday, or at least the current practice of it should be regulated. It's ridiculous how people get hurt EVERY SINGLE YEAR over this BS.
Retailers should be forced to do something like "We have this TV that retails for $500 and we're selling it for $150 on black friday. EVERY person that shows up between 7am - 9am friday morning will get a raffle ticket. If their number is called they'll be allowed to buy this item".
Because I can tell you what, I don't do ANY brick and mortar shopping this weekend, haven't for well over a decade. Because if some a****** attacked me over some TV I'd have to shoot the bastard and then go to prison.
I do all my shopping for the holidays online, have for a long time now and I won't ever change that. There is NO deal (short of buying a threesome with Jessica Alba and Zooey Deschanel for $100) that would make it worth the time, hassle and possible aforementioned prison sentence.
