Blacklight: Retribution is coming out of beta and Zombie Studios has revealed the F2P shooter’s PS Plus Starter pack, as well as some trophy info.
Let’s start with the PS Plus Starter Pack. Offered up to all PlayStation Plus members, the pack includes a weapon, an item and some in-game currency.
“As a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll automatically receive the Starter Pack in the near future, which includes the Burstfire SMG, Revival Injector, and 250 ZCoins to spend on PlayStation Store,” said producer Kael Hammond. “Head into customization to equip your items, and you’re ready to go!”
As for trophies, Blacklight: Retribution’s current count stands at 20, but more are planned to hit alongside further patches. Hammond said the team’s favourite trophies so far are:

• Who Needs Friends?: Earned by completing 20 matches of Deathmatch.
• Toasty: Earned by killing 10 Hardsuits with a Flamethrower.
• Breadwinner: Get this one by earning 50,000 GP.
• This Is My Rifle: Add this to your shelf by fully customizing a primary weapon.

Hammond adds that all Zcoin purchased during Blacklight: Retribution’s Beta phase will be refunded. Stats, progress, earned items, and everything else will be carried over into the full release. “So there’s no need to worry that you’ll have to start completely over tomorrow.”
The launch timing for the PlayStation Plus Starter Pack has not been confirmed, says Hammond, but will be “coming in the near future.”
