How about a good 3D printer to make replicas of players characters? I'm talking specific details, shaders, etc. not just classes/sub-classes. Maybe get permission from Actibungie to DL the data file for the character.

Probably be a market for it.

yeah sounds like a good idea but fear Bungie has so much invested in it their cut of the profits would be too much to make it worth our time.

anyway I've got to get back to something...

I don't think you would receive permission. Even if you offered 100% of profits as compensation they wouldn't want to dilute their brand. Plus a 3d printer like what you would need would cost lots of money. Can you create the detailed models using the 3d printer software? What about painting the models?
