I forgot to comment on something last week and over the weekend. Hackers and cheaters are really getting out of hand in Warzone it’s the worst we’ve ever noticed. Seems like every match we run into a player or team doing something suspicious... or every player you fight is jumping around non stop or drop shotting. It’s getting to the point we don’t have much fun anymore. Either Activision and their devs don’t care because they get their money and it’s one of the most popular BR’s now or it’s a bigger undertaking than we think to clean up Warzone.

Sad but true. I still notice too many cheaters in the main CW game too. Not nearly as bad but enough to ruin games.

The problem is too that once you climb up and get into the higher skill based tiers, you run into a ton more.

I think I'm done with PC/console crossplay. It is a failed experiment. One of the main reasons I play on console is significantly fewer cheaters, but now that doesn't even matter.

Even when I don't run into cheaters, I'm up against god tier legit PC players who are just insanely good. My lobbies now are more mouse and keyboard than controller and it feels really unfair.

I really hope Battlefield isn't going the PC crossplay route. Crossplay should be console only. At this point I want a more casual experience with people on similar hardware, not running into pro gamers and cheaters.

Yes a console only cross play option would be nice. I hate being forced to play against PC.

Honestly I’d try out or stick with other online FPS more but it sucks playing with randoms. The big group of friends I play Online with weekly are all COD 100% and will not try anything else or stick to anything else for long. Only thing in recent years groups of us played for awhile other than COD was BF1 and PUBG.

It is why I stopped playing Warzone.

Apex legends added crossplay with no platform choice, but in over 200 BR games I have yet to be paired with, killed by, or see a PC player.

I need to give Apex another go, from when I played it the first year it launched from time to time I had some fun. I quit playing because everyone on my friends list moved on after a couple weeks.

Nothing has changed massively with the meta. For ARs, the Fara is good if you have it unlocked. It is a bit longer range but has some kick to it, but if you can control it, it is really good. Most any of them work fine really outside of the QBZ which always seems to struggle. The Groza can be sneaky good as an aggressive AR. The AK and XM4 are always solid.

SMGs are still dominated by the LC10. They nerfed it, but it is still really strong at solid range. I personally like the Bullfrog. The KSP can be good as a burst SMG but I'm pretty terrible with it.

The Tac rifles are still good if you want to play that passive style (probably not).

It isn't a super strong meta, so there's few guns that can't compete.

There's 12v12 modes now if you want tons of action.

Be warned, it feels like they cranked the SBMM up to 11 this season. I'm regularly in PC lobbies against mouse and keyboard players (and I'm not that good).

I mostly stick with Prop Hunt to level up my battle pass. Less frustrating.

Those are probably battle pass guns so you're probably out of luck. You'll be fine with the AK still. The problem is the Fara is just a tiny bit better than the AK now.

Yeah, played Express and Stand Off. Had fun games on both.

If I turn off crossplay, it takes an eternity to find a game, and when it finally does it is horribly laggy.

It does take longer, but not too long for me. Oddly enough, the laggy players I have noticed more in low ping games than high ping games.

It is ok, the problem is it is mostly just a slightly worse version of what's already out there. The balance overall is pretty good so most guns are usable so a lot of it comes down to preference. I see people using it.

The other problem is that you need to spend an hour in zombies solo to even get a gun to have decent attachments.

Been really enjoying the Bullfrog. This little puppy just puts in the work.

BP definately works different. With the 2x active I went from 0 to 21 in no time. Roughly a whole level per TDM match. In MW it took minimum of 2 games to get 1 level.

The Bullfrog is really good. Big mag, good range, good up close, just everything you want in an SMG.

I swear the BP felt different this time. I was at 80-something last Friday and really wanted to get to 100 but really didn't feel like playing all that much. I started playing prop hunt and I was easily getting between 1-3 levels per game (sometimes those games can go long if the props hide the whole time). I hit 100 really easily and I didn't really have to play all that much.

It seems really inconsistent at times. As long as double XP really moves things fast, I'm fine with it.

Rush is coming back (not day 1) but it looks like another new full size map along with Hijacked.

Rush was that paintball arena map from maybe BO3 or 4? Never liked the games, but the map was fun.

Do you have to play Warzone for that limited time event? Althoughh the rewards sound pretty meh.

That C58 looks a G3 variant.

I'm not sure, some stuff is Warzone specific, others not. There's sometimes stuff that is Warzone only unfortunately. If it is the battle pass though, you can play either. They've done a little better making stuff available in both games, realizing that some of us aren't fans of Warzone.

Rush isn't that small, that's just one hectic room, but there's a lot more outside that they don't show. I guess it was actually a BO2 DLC map that a ton of people might not have played but it is good. It must have been one of those later DLC packs not everyone bought.

I remember the map Rush on BO2 it was pretty good. menace-uk- its bigger than you think. Inside a building was the paintball course, then was an outdoor middle area with cover all around, and then a long two story structure on the other side of the map that stretches both spawns.

There's talk on reddit that the new update breaks all sorts of stuff like this. It might get fixed once they push out the big patch tonight. The game is always a little wonky right before a new season.

Ok. That explains the Fara.

But LC10 wasn't there before the patch either.

Whelp the nail gun is OP that thing is nasty on Alcatraz lol.

The Battle Pass is going super slow. Played 3 matches of Resurgence did well and still haven’t went up a level.

Really? Two matches of TDM seems to be giving me 1 level-ish. I'm almost level 10.

Played for 4 hours last night and I think my BP was only lvl 3. Normally two matches put us up a level. Maybe it’s slower now in Warzone and faster in Cold War MP trying to get people to stay in that.

Supposedly the BP is simply time played based. It doesn't care if you're getting tons of XP or getting wrecked. I leveled up a bunch of the last one last weekend playing Prop Hunt. It definitely feels inconsistent at times. I was just playing TDM and one game it seems to jump a ton and the next it only moves a sliver.

The real problem is that nobody wants to play that much COD to get everything unlocked, especially this late. I'll jump on for an hour or two and have some fun, but I don't really want to play more than that.

The new map is pretty big and plays pretty campy 6v6 but isn't terrible. Lots of lmgs camping angles. Supposedly it plays 12v12 too which it really is made for. I don't mind a little bigger maps, but this feels too big 6v6. Not the worst game ever to be in the game though.

Hijacked is the same fun I remember from BO2. Hectic, but not crazy.
