COD:AW Not Coming to Wii U

From what I've seen in sales, Nintendo gamers are just more into childish and terrible Sonic Unleashed games over Call of Duty. I rather have my adult games. Sonic games are okay, but so many of the post-2D era games are complete hit and miss. I'd be buying CoD: AW day one for Playstation.

The biggest publishers are already abandoning the U. Nintendo better start pumping out first party hits like crazy.

Well considering their quality over quantity mantra I wouldn't expect them pumped out to crazily...

Sonic Unleashed wasn't too bad. Maybe the scars from Sonic 06 are just still fresh, but Unleashed was decent overall. Nintendo fans are definitely more into cartoon games though. Certainly not a bad thing in my opinion. Cartoon aesthetics are a favorite of mine. I just wish that they all weren't so aimed at a family friendly audience. My favorite cartoon games tend to still have a very adult sense of humor like Brutal Legend, Comic Jumper, LocoCycle, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Voodoo Vince, Psychonauts, Monkey Island, etc. I feel like Nintendo tried to visit that during the N64 era for a brief spell, but haven't gotten back to it since. They have such a large library of games, maybe it's time one of them got their own bad fur day.

They are just not into the mediocrity that is COD. You played one you've played them all.

Maybe you felt it was decent, but I know it was largely slammed for being too casual and too boring like most 3D Sonic games. And I myself had trouble getting into it. Generations and Colors are the only two out of the bunch I can think of to actually show a good deal of positive reception across the board.

But I too definitely wish Nintendo wasn't so focused on being PG-rated with their console. They've been this way even back in the day when the SNES version of Mortal Kombat had censored/grayed-out blood effects, and I think this focus has slowly chipped away at their sales because parents don't mind buying a PS3 and the rated-M Watchdogs game for their kids.

Sonic Generations >>>>> COD ;)

I would rather play something fresh on my WiiU like Devil's Third over another iteration of COD
