The $10 upgrade program requires you to keep the same disc.

Does anyone know whether a receipt is required for i though? Because that'd be the determining factor I suppose.

Not true. You have to trade in your 360 copy to the retailer where you purchased it from, and they will give you the next gen version for $10.

eBay is not one of the participating retailers, nor is Newegg, according to http://community.callofduty.com/com.../2013/10/17/next-gen-upgrade-faq#.UnlVWPm23_k

I was just going by what the box said when I went to Best Buy last week.

It definitely said "PS3 Disc is Required".

I guess there are several ways to go about this, I didn't realize that.

Oh ok I was referring to Xbox version.
