COX just made my morning

They better not be yanking my chain, or just offering a new tier. Currently I am at their bottom-middle tier of 12/2. last time they did this they boosted everybody's speed. Right now the top tier in my area is 50/5. So if they keep the package structure, and just double mine, ill be dancing.

My current dgl 3300 has been solid since it first came out, but on sunday decided it was tired of connecting to the internet.

I finally switched to cable a month ago and went with the 50mbps plan, it's time warner and I've heard mostly bad things. I won't say they've been perfect, the first night I had it there was an outage that lasted 6 hours and I've had a couple of shorter outages after that as well as my speeds dropping to under 5mbps a couple of times but overall it's been decent.

I'm the only one I know that doesn't have a problem with Cox. All my friends hate them. I think its just part of doing business with a corporation. i used to work for DirecTV and my family loves them, but ill never give them my business. Its kinda like never eating at the restaurant you work for.

I have cox in phoenix, my internet has been down since yesterday afternoon.

Called cox yesterday evening, they said they don't know why it's down.

I miss my fios in California.
