Remember 38 Studios? The former video game studio headed by baseball legend Curt Schilling is finally going up for auction. The auction will include the unfinished MMO, code-named "Copernicus," and other Intellectual properties,one would assume incudes the Amalur IP itself. The AP reports Richard Land, the receiver for 38 Studios, believes that the IPs have " Significant value" and that multiple parties have expressed interest. 38 Studios was founded by Curt Shilling in 2006. It's only release was the moderately received title Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning. The title sold 330,000 units within its first month on the market and 1.2 million units in 90 days. It has been reported that the game needed to sell 3 million units to break even.
