I just received my ps4, I tried updating it, But i don't think it finished the update. the PS4 made a noise and the console just shut off. Now, I can't get it back on.

Also when I moved it the picture went out and it made noise.. if the video output bad?

all I get is the console flashing blue now..

I would unplug the power and HDMI cable. Then reconnect them to make sure you have a secure connection and try to start the PS4 in safe mode-

Safe Mode is a PS4 operating system mode which activates after improper power-down or any hard drive replacement. Safe mode displays a special prompt on boot and scans the PS4 hardware for errors and the hard drive for corrupted sectors. After safe mode loads successfully, the PS4 OS returns to normal operational settings.

To avoid seeing Safe Mode and potentially prolong the life of your console, always power down correctly. Safe mode also shows up if the power cord comes unattatched while the system is on.

If you need to activate Safe Mode (such as when updating with a USB flash drive), you need to hold down the power button for at least 8 seconds. The system will come on in Safe Mode.

If it won't come up you could check the Hard drive connection and other areas like that.

It's not going into safe mode. I would press the power button.. Hear that first beep.. continue to hold the power button until I hear another beep but than it shuts down..

when it was actually on I moved it. it started making sounds. and the picture was going on and off and now im just getting the blinking light

yeah, I just seen that video.. MY DHMI cable looks like it doesnt go all the way in.

It seems that all of the PS4 that are not working are manufactured in Hongfujin Yantai China - September 2013.

and thats where and when my ps4 was made.. Isn't that awesome..

Well, I pressed the share buttn a couple of times on the controller hoping I share this bull crap with all of you..

Im so mean

Ok....tell me if im right or wrong...

You got everything hooked up right...

You turn on the PS4, it starts up as it should...but on your TV the picture shows up and then goes black, then comes up again etc.... Same with the sound right ? You hear audio then it's gone a sec...you hear it again etc

Am i right ?

Also make sure the PS4 is connected to the TV via HDMI port 1

If your PS4 isn't outputting video and you're seeing a blue light, first check input settings and cables, as the blue pulse error has some similarities with another reported and fixable PS4 hardware issue.

It is also possible that this problem may be caused by a misshapen metal connector on the PS4 HDMI port. Gently widening the breach with a tool to fully admit the HDMI connector may correct the issue. You should only attempt this at your own risk, as this procedure may void your warranty.

Other recommended steps from Sony include turning off your PlayStation 4 completely and holding the power button for at least seven seconds (until the system beeps twice), disconnecting your PS4's AC power cord, and checking your PlayStation 4 for visibly damaged parts.
