You can't play as the heroes or villains themselves(only in Legend PVP which is like Arena in WOW)

You have to make your own hero or villain. But I do believe Aquaman's Atlantis Zone was a DLC
 
I had villain and hero characters. It's been a long but I'm pretty sure my main was a villain. I have no idea what I named him though, lol.
 
Haven't played this since a few months after launch. Might have to download it and check out the difference in graphics and updates.

I still have the PS3 disc, actually. Don't think I can sell it, may as well just toss it.
 
Is there a disk to buy or digital download to buy, then the subcription is free?
Or is this totally free?
 
You can either buy the disk or DL it for free off the store.

You can go for free to play with limitations to inventory cash and no access to DLC(which you can purchase) or you can go for the monthly subscription which gives you access to the DLC
 
Completely free. Might make a toon in the next few hours to see what's changed, last time I tried this game was like over a year ago.

Originally the game was pay to play. Once the number of players started going down they made it free to play
 
I had some fun with it on PS3, will give it another try on next gen.
 
since it is PS3/PS4 cross platform that should help repopulate the game, I may hope back into it.

I didn't play the PS3 version, sorry. I saw some youtube videos of the game but those are compressed so i don't know how fair a comparison for me would be. The graphics were ok, the movement was smooth.
 
I had this game before it went free and went to download it again.

I forgot about the loooooong download time. It took me hours to download while I was in Korea with almost 50mbps. Now I'm living in the Philippines and maxed out at a whopping 2mbps, it just might take a week.

Anyone know, if I stop the download will it remember where it left off and start again from there? Thanks

Yes... I also downloaded that before. It downloads it like a torrent(referring to the main game client)
