Deeper Down - On Screen Footage

And this is the moment that I realized I learned (broken) the Japanese language from watching Ultimate Ninja Warrior...

it looks a lot better in motion than static pics.

why are the dragons wings so small?

Art design on the lighting is really nice. Capcom is solid at art when they stick to somewhat western themes.

So this is F2P, right? Where do the microtransactions come into play?

(And what does 'hai' mean? They said it over and over and over...)

Man, that lighting is indeed very impressive. Game play doesn't look like my cup of tea, but I'll keep an eye on it since it will be F2P.

I just noticed something just now with the visuals. The fire breathing has real fluid simulated flames along with the normal 2D particle effects, but the fluid simulation is only being done at 10fps even though the actual game is 60fps. That's an interesting way to optimize and maintain visual quality. Capcom did a good job with delivering on the 60fps front. 60fps needs to be standard.

It looks like they are just using particles with perlin flow noise on them to me...

Having fire fx running at low fps is extremely common even on current gen. The fire fx they originally had wanted in the game were seemingly dumped as the result we see here is severely downgraded from that target.

Impressive minus the annoying English accent being spoken...
hopefully they get better voice actors by launch.

Some of it looks as good as the 1st shown footage like the fire for example.

i wonder if the player walked into the tornado, if the debris would hit him or float through him.

They significantly dumbed down the game from the original demo showed at E3 last year. But I'm not surprised as I knew it wasn't going to look like that. However, even with the dumbed down graphics, it's still the most graphically impressive game I've seen on the next-gen consoles.

This actually just jumped onto my watch list. 13:20 when the main character stabs the naked bear in the knee? That's pretty cool to see.

I am very interested in this game but i will not being pleased if i get micro-transactioned to death.

I'm worried about this game. Crapcom can not be trusted at this point.

Capcom is in a poor financial situation, they are cash poor. Typically, Capcom is bad enough with this stuff, but add that they desperately need the cash, i am worried about many of their upcoming titles having alot of micro-transactions.
