Yeah, not a Day 1 for me. Both Division and Destiny feel like Early Access Games.

8 Settembre?

That's Dutch, for April, yeah?

And I'm not sure how you'd go about keeping first year gear relevant for the life of the game? As they raise the level cap, you need to put the carrot In front of the horse to keep them paying.

I'm one of the few who prefer the later changes they made. I'm glad elemental primaries are gone. Back then, you needed 3 versions of every good gun with a good roll. Getting 1 is hard enough.

I don't know about you guys but the y1 meta for pve: fatebringer, black hammer and gjallarhorn was amazing.

My main problem with the jump from year 1 to year 2, was that they made it almost impossible to keep playing unless you bought Taken King. If you wanted to keep playing Destiny, you almost HAD to buy Taken King. I'm all for quality expansion, but they shouldn't wreck those people who didn't want to buy taken king. (I eventually bought taken king and thought it was abig improvement, but I really disliked how they forced you into it.

Why do you think it was impossible to play Destiny without Taken King?

I'm trying to remember specific, but it's a love little fuzzy. If I remember right you could no longer do the dailies or the weeklies.

If I recall right, it was only the Nightfall you couldn't do.

It was far worse forthose who bought TTK, cause all that previous content was worthless & irrelevant.

Yeah, you shouldn't have to buy other DLC to play the initial game. No broken quests, dailies, etc. That's why it felt like early access. They kept adding and fixing.

Actually, they kept taking away & breaking.

Last time I played the ammo amount you had was stupidly low. No doubt due to changes to the PvP side of things:txbrolleyes:

Can we merge the two Destiny threads please? The other one has a better title, so merging this with that would be preferable.

I never understood why the would change PvE stuff when they would balance the PvP. Drove me insane

It drove me to stop playing the game entirely. Reading over this thread is only reinforcing that decision.

The internet has been awash with Destiny 2 rumours. For once though, they appear to be true. This time around it stemmed from a Gamestop Italy store, which apparently received Destiny 2 advertising posters. Not only does it have a release date for Destiny 2, but it also advertises a PlayStation 4-exclusive beta test taking place in June and, according to sources close to Bungie, a PC release.

The poster itself shows key art from Destiny 2, alongside a September 8th release date and the aforementioned PlayStation 4-exclusive beta. As far as artwork goes, it’s about as terribly generic as it gets, so here’s hoping the actual game looks a little more inspired. Without the Destiny logo slapped across it’d be very easy to confuse it for a new Call of Duty title.

While it would be easy to dismiss this poster as a simple fake, Activision itself confirmed during its financial earnings call in February, Destiny 2 would be out this year, and that Bungie was looking to  "broaden the franchise's global reach". Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has become a reliable source of Destiny leaks in all shapes and sizes, and he claims Destiny 2 is coming to PC and that an official announcement is due any day now.

Now, this is all well and good, but we’d still love to know for sure whether or not Destiny 2 is PC-bound. I can’t for the life of me imagine why it wouldn’t be, but I thought that about the original Destiny and look what happened there. Everything about Destiny screams PC, from the ever-evolving nature to its long MMO-esque lifespan and team-oriented raids.

If Destiny 2 were to come to PC, would you hop onboard with the sequel?

As long as there's no crossplay, I'm fine with the game on PC. Just keep all the PC stuff separate from consoles.

But if it goes to PC then it won't be a PS4 exclusive any more...

Yeah you are making sense...
Anyways bungie tweeted Twitter with a pic saying Destiny 2 and changed its Facebook pic to Destiny 2.
So hopefully we hear something soon..

D2 was no secret. They said flat out that tomorrow's patch was the very last for Destiny 1.

Anyone else looking forward to the raids coming back at higher level? I still have never tried one. Hoping to try Crota this weekend on ps4.

Unless you have the latest content, 390 light and all the best weapons then you might struggle getting a raid.

Honestly, I would have loved to play Vault of Glass and get another Fatebringer. I also would have loved getting a Vision of Confluence for the first time too. But no way am I buying the last DLC.

I finally hit max light. The last few iron banners have been great for gear. SRL too. One good thing they did is make the grind to max light not quite so bad.

It sucks that you need the last DLC to enjoy the end content. I really do like where they've gone with the game. They've finally gotten to a good mix of fun to play, yet still rewarding without being too much of a grind. I'm max light, but still looking for great rolls on guns and armor, etc.

They are probably missing out by not dropping the ROI price a bit. Maybe at $20 it becomes more enticing.
