Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4

  • Includes the main game and the Reaper of Souls expansion.
  • Includes all of the PC patches ("it will be "very finely tuned").
  • It's not clear, but it looks like it will be console-exclusive, at least for a period of time ("An Xbox One version is currently in development, but Blizzard is not sure if it will ever be released").
  • PS3 characters transfer.
  • Runs at 60 fps, 1080p.
  • Release date not yet announced, but it looks like it's getting close.

I'm not much of a loot whore, but it looks like a high-quality game. Probably a lot of fun in co-op.

If only it would import my 360 characters too! ;)

Can't wait. I'm wondering if they'll up the mob size to equal PC this time around, as it looks like everything else is the same now.

This will be the first Diablo game I've ever purchased and I can't wait for it to come out. I love that they are doing things to make it right for consoles rather than just porting it over and throwing it out.
 
Im looking to buy a PS4 this summer, so if it is coming out around then, that's perfect timing. I almost bought this on the 360 last Christmas, but I had way too many games on the back burner and decided against it. Ive been waiting for a game to come out on PS4 that makes me want to take the plunge, and a loot heavy, co-op RPG is right in my wheelhouse.
 
I had Diablo 3 on PC (as in, its no longer in my harddisk, but I can always redownload it). I am not sure I am giving Blizzard a 2nd chance at Diablo 3. It was a big dissappointment for me & my buddies who were big fans of previous Diablo.

But I heard they made many changes to improve gameplay....

In any case, I will get it on PC (the expansion).
 
Was hard to not get this game after playing hours of the 360 demo, but I was betting there would be nextgen versions.
Glad I waited for the definitive version on PS4.
 
Anyone know if there's online drop in/out coop?
Like you start an online game open to friends, and your buddies can jump in whenever.
?
 
Maybe worth a mention that playing with other people gives you extra exp and loot. As everyone gets their own loot pile, there are little downsides to playing with other people except the enemies get more difficult.
 
That feature they talked about where a monster who kills you gets upgraded and comes after people in your friends list is pretty cool. I hope they give us a date soon.
