Where's the 'None of the above' option?

All of my friends transitioned to PC gaming, I have pretty much 0 need for consoles now so I am opting out of this generation totally.

I was able to pre-order a XSX from Best Buy. But with some major retailers sending out warnings of delayed deliveries I'm trying to get myself ready for disappointment as we get closer to release.

I wasn't able to secure a PS5 but I'm not hurt by that fact. I know that the games are the most important thing but I really can't stand the color of both the PS5 console and its controller. I've read the PS5 panels are removable but not sure that's been confirmed. Why ohh why did someone over at Sony engineering think that white would be a good idea I'll never understand. I can still remember the yellowish sheen my Sega Dreamcast formed after a while even with proper maintenance........yuck.

XSX preordered for sure. Had I actually come across some available PS5s I might have ordered one too, but I'll get one eventually.

I'm not even sure if I'll get my XSX on launch at this point anyway, so my enthusiasm about next gen is way down.

I'm getting the Destiny 2 DLC and Cyberpunk on PC anyway so I'm not ignoring console, but planning on my order getting lost by Amazon.

I'm kind of sitting and seeing if 2080is drop in price with the newer 3000 cards out too.

I am getting both. Xbox Series X for all the awesome exclusives and multiplatform games, and PS5 for Uncharted, Spider-Man and Gran Turismo.

I agree. However, I've gotten all the launch Xboxes and will continue for now. I'll get a PS5 when it's prettier.

Nice. I’ve missed them all except the X1X if that counts. I still remember it took me 3 months to find a 360 in stock and I was completely blown away by Condemned and Kameo.

It runs on a Snapdragon XR2 processor (mobile for XR). Or you can connect it to your PC wired (official) or wirelessly (unofficial).

...and to clarify the above, the wired (Oculus Link) is still in beta, and supports 72Hz (same as OG Quest), and will go to 90Hz (native display) next year. If you side-load Virtual Desktop now, you can currently get 90Hz wirelessly. All of this is PC.

With native processing, you it's much like how Xbox does BC. Quest titles all run, mostly without fixed foveated rendering (all at the highest res), and there are currently 20 enhanced titles, with more to come. They also hired ex-Xbox BC lead (and xCloud lead) Bill Stillwell to handle this (and I believe to handle a little sumpin' more). 😉

For those that didn't pre-order did you find out when another shipment is coming, I asked around a couple stores in NZ and apparently might not be getting any more shipments till mid next year which I want to strongly not believe. I was just waiting to trade in my old consoles and thought I might get lucky with the less popular Xbox here but nooooo sir.
