Had to uninstall app and reinstall now it gave me option to sign in. I still can’t sign in Hulu on any device still says my account doesn’t exist.
After calling Hulu and them telling me to contact Disney, my wife got to looking at our account on the Disney+ site and you have to jump through a couple hoops to get your Hulu linked to it. Finally figured it out.

So, I signed up for the 3 year deal back when it was $140. Now I see that with the Verizon deal, it basically suspends your existing plan for a year. Looks like I'm at 4 years for $140 now. Crazy cheap, at under $3/mo! Even with the current $170 3 year deal, the Verizon freebie 1 year extension just makes it so much better, IMO. All 7 [soon to be 8] plus Rogue One (and Solo next year) are in UHD HDR10 or DV with Atmos sound. I'm actually amazed by this! Unfortunately Atmos is NOT currently working on Xbox and most streaming devices except AppleTV 4K. I can attest to a huge picture improvement with the opening scene from RotJ in HDR10 on my projector. (No or few home projectors support DV) I'm waiting for the Atmos to get sorted out before watching the OT.

I'm going to say that if you already have a good 5.1 or 7.1 system, it's not a must-have, right-away thing. That said, what it fundamentally does is the future. It replaces separate tracks for each speaker with separate virtual sound objects, then spreads those objects using an algorithm over however you choose your layout. It can be 2.0, 2.1 3.1, 5.1, 7.1 with height in the front, 7.1 with height in the back, etc.I think that the max is 11.2, but it's a misnomer that you need height speakers for Atmos. You don't HAVE to change your speaker layout, so it's really easy to upgrade! That said, adding height channels to either the front, back, or center of the room is just fantastic to my ears. I also love that Xbox can upscale everything to Atmos for you. Granted all receivers do this, but there is no pausing handshake, or any other issues between 5.1 and Atmos on Xbox, which is a nice touch. The only issue is figuring out what is the true Atmos content. As of yesterday Disney Plus wasn't allowing Atmos sound as an option on its content yet through Xbox and most other devices, save Apple4KTV. (but then some content on that device seems to be not showing UHD either)

Apple 4KTV is the best option for D+/streaming period and a must buy for serious streamers as is....

I’m hearing bad things about it’s UI and playback usability. But otherwise it’s a great device for 4K streaming

really? i just remember my coworker complaining about it but come to think of it may have been about the Apple Arcade functionality, might have to get back to you on this
Just watched Mandalorian on the Xbox One X in 4K with HDR through Disney +. It's a great experience.
Tech Advisor did a poll, and Apple TV was the least desired out of the big streamers, by a massive margin. More than double.
What makes Apple 4KTV so good, though? We are all gamers here, so why not just use gaming gear? Serious question. On Xbox I have HULU Live, CBS All Access, Netflix, and Amazon, and Disney Plus, with everything but Hulu having UHD and Atmos sound. Disclaimer: I actually loathe Apple and will probably never but another Apple product, but why is this device such a must-have? I honestly don't get it. Edit: I just saw your UI comment. Is that all though, or isv there something else that makes it so great?

For serious streamers it's considered the best if the best Audio and Video quality is important.

Yeah, I didn't even know that Apple had native 24fps support for so many streaming services. Hmm. Just to be clear, Xbox does support 24Hz output, as it's always been part of the Blu-ray app, and each streaming service can build the app however they want. It would be nice though, if the Xbox team put a little more pressure on these partners to deliver a premium product. It sounds like Apple does this.
A $500 launch console should be expected to check all of the boxes, IMO. The Blu-ray (with UHD) app should have also been nailed down perfectly at One S launch, let alone the One X launch. It's been good, but could have been great. It's funny that the One was originally the console that was touted as a media console at launch. I honestly think that having those capabilities is great, but you don't need to advertise it as such, and you should definitely just own it if you do. I guess it's a minor gripe to some, but this 24Hz thing is just another example of a company so big that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. A perfect example is now they added variable refresh rate output for the very few monitors that support it. Great! In this case, tons of TVs support 24Hz input at both 1080p and 2160p. Both of these are examples of wanting native refresh rates from your content to your display. Why isn't the entertainment division talking to the game division and the hardware division within Xbox? Native 24fps isn't even a new thing, as well before Blu-ray arrived, DVD prayers with native 24Hz output was desirable.
It's actually ironic that you mention it being powerful enough when it actually takes LESS processing power to display something at its native resolution and native frame rate. In the case of frame rate, 24fps content needs 3:2 pull down processing to be sent as 30 or 60Hz. For some of you wondering what that is, that is the cadence of repeating frames (3 frames, 2 frames, 3 frames....), which causes some stuttering, as opposed to letting your 120Hz display just handle 24/24/24/24/24=120. The beauty of having a 120Hz display, is that it handles 24, 30, 60, and 120fps perfectly...if you let it.

For 4K streaming its actually the higher end devices that do 24hz/properly.
It shouldn't take more power but I'm thinking it does.
X is still a amazing all in one unit and reminds of(in a good way) the PS3 and how much it offered for its time.
