My point is that "Tarzan" has existed for over 100 years. Disney did not create the character or franchise, nor do they own the character or franchise. There were over 70 years worth of novels, television, and dozens of movies before Disney made an animated interpretation in 1999.

Insinuating they're making a "live action" version is implying their cartoon created the character or franchise, which is outlandishly wrong.
