Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness - March 25, 2022

Spoiler ahead. Read after watching the movie...

But it is perfectly fine that Wanda wants to to kill a kid in order to enslave the entire multiverse then kill her other self just to have a life with children that were never her own to begin with.

Lol. Internet.

In a fantasy universe where Wanda was in a relationship with a Robot, but two women getting together is a problem for some people.
it says her "characters sexuality" but I honestly can't recall her sexuality coming up at all. The only gay thing I recall, and I doubt anybody would call this a spoiler, is she had 2 moms, but even then it isn't actually said that they were lovers.

I thought why not find one where the kids are orphans and or one where it’s vision raising them alone? Like, clearly she heard their voices in distress, why couldn’t she have found those?

Question to those who saw it…. Do you think she’s dead? And did the corruption come from the book strange used or could it have been transferred from the one he killed?

Exactly. Everything she tries to accomplish could have been done just by asking and helping the kid.. I guess the argument to this is grief makes us do silly things.

Dead, don't think so. There is nothing that implies that.

I actually think the book Wanda has came from the Witch in Wandavision. Isn't that what she is reading in the credits scene?

It’s probably grief and either possession or corruption from the book.

Hmmm, I guess one reason she could be alive is white/grey-vision may be on her mind still, as a last source of emotional refuge?

Yep that’s the book. But why didn’t she get a third eye like the three Strange variants, is it cos she’s the scarlet witch? Even though those that used said book you can see them, most noticeably their fingers, get all black

I honesty don't know.

Will be watching it again today with my Bro and a few friends so maybe I'll spot something I missed the first time.

I forgot to mention…. or maybe I did mention, am lazy to look up lol…. Anyways, there may be a reason as to why the third I went or stayed open

Maybe, I'm sure a comic nerd somewhere will shed light on that.

You know I totally missed her dropping her throne room on her self. To go back to one of your earlier questions: She might be dead, but seems a weak way to kill off your strongest Avenger.

For people watching this, are there pre-requisite movies or shows to see first?

I haven't kept up with the Spiderman flicks and I didn't get around to watch WandaVision.

Definitely one of, if not darkest marvel movie haha.
My favorite scenes were watching the Scarlet Witch violently kill all the alternate dimension super heroes. I would love if a rated R director's cut would surface sometime down the road. Loved the monsters and zombie / phantom Strange. Final "pre-credits" scene kinda reminded me of the final scene of Drag Me to Hell. Fun stuff.

I wouldn't worry about it. They'll refer to some things, but none of it is really that important or worth the amount of time you'd need to invest.

Unrelated, but HALLELUJAH for a new Marvel film that stuck to a 2 hour run time.

Really liked Sam Raimi style he brought to this. Was surprised how dark it got a times. My only disappointment is there were not more cameos and got to see more universes. What we did get was really cool though.

I started hitting my oldest boy in the shoulder saying holy s***! when Strange met the council lol he had no idea who some of the actors/characters was he hasn’t seen everything over the many years.
