Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics free for limited time

Thanks! Definitely getting this. Love Fallout but never played 1 or 2. Hopefully can get through these before 4 releases.

Just a little warning, the game is old and it's turn based, which may turn some off. However, give a chance, it's a great game (1 & 2). Tactics is nothing like 1 and 2 though.
To this day, Fallout 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games ever, despite the aging visuals.

I actually like turn based games. JRPGS are my favorite genre of game. I'm sure I'll like it. Fallout is all about the atmosphere for me.

Thanks for sharing this. I haven't played the original fallout series for years and I don't mind grabbing these free iterations and having GoG.com take care of all the dosbox stuff

Note: the site is really slow and crashing right now, probably due to unusually high traffic.

Also, Legend of Grimrock, along with Ultima Underworld 1 & 2 are on sale, get all 3 for like $7. I can't resist that.

I think I've already bought each of these at least twice including once I'm pretty sure through GOG, and I can't recommend them highly enough. It's turn based, unforgiving and exactly what great games were back in the day.

Both 1 and 2 are great games that I don't mind having paid full price for them on Steam. Tactics tho... ugh.
