Wasn't it earlier this year that the voice actor of ThreeDog started to tease something? Also recently there was a report about Bethesda looking for people to work on a 'bleeding edge RPG'. Now a new Elder Scrolls....is very unlikely...a new Fallout....very likely. There's now more on it. Found this on another Xbox forum:

http://thesurvivor2299.com/ It's morse code for 11-12-13

Zenimax is Bethesda is Fallout. Survivor? Clearly about the Fallout setting and games. Is that date for the VGA's? Cause that would be very likely to happen. Skyrim got announced there. I will tell you right now...if they announce Fallout 4 at the VGA's this year, screw any other game announcement. This dude will go nuts!!!

A site has also picked it up:

A new website, thesurvivor2299.com, registered to ZeniMax has been spotted online by the perpetually web-combing eyes of Reddit and picked up by GameRanx. There are clues galore that this site relates to a forthcoming Fallout announcement (most likely Fallout 4, or whatever they end up calling it.)

Let us go over the relevant hints:

- Registered to ZeniMax (publishers of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.)

- The date 2299 would place the game around 15-20 years after the events of New Vegas (while Fallout 3 was late 2270s.)

- As figured out by Reddit, the Morse code playing on the page spells out 11.12.13. Since 12 November has already passed, that’s probably referring to the European style date system and saying 11 December. The Spike Video Game Awards always air in mid-December, so that may well be when this project is revealed more fully.

- The site contains a script called fallout.js (again, thanks to Reddit for that one.)

Rather convincing stuff, there. Now, hopefully it really is a proper Fallout sequel and not an iPhone game/free to play MMO/terrible MOBA. I’d love another Fallout game developed by Obsidian, but since they’re busy doing South Park and Project Eternity it’ll probably be Bethesda doing the honours again.

I do not agree with hopefully it being Obsidian again. While i liked the new features, i really didn't like the amount of times the game froze on me. Ridiculously many times it froze and very little did Fallout 3 do that for me. Love Fallout 3.

Bethesda usually teases these things a little more openly. I don't think it's legit.

Eh I'll give this a chance if it's real but I hope this isn't true. I'd greatly prefer a next-gen Elder Scrolls title.

Already a new TES? Too quick, they need to take that easy and give us Fallout 4 first. By the way, the VGA's are most of the time in mid december, right? It's very plausible that Bethesda starts teasing it on december 11 and at VGA's full reveal.

I don't think it's too soon. I'd assume the game would launch late last year at the earliest which would be 3 years since Skryim. That's enough time.

I dislike threads like this because unless it's a fact it's just a tease. Fallout is too important to tease like this.

I'm willing to bet it's not a Elder Scrolls game. They still have ES Online to worry about, let alone releasing another game of the same brand not long after. Would suck the air out of the community I think.

lulz this same type of thing happened pretty recently with Fallout 4. There was a thread here for that one too.

It can still happen at VGAs...i mean..Bethesda IS working on a new RPG...but meh...not getting my hopes up.

Don't have time to discuss the whole thread, but I did want to comment on this.

IMO the perfect next Fallout would consist of:

Bethesda: Game World, features (like random encounters)
Obsidian: Characters, Dialog, Story

Agreed. The characters were more interesting in NV. Although a few were really good in F3 too. It's all good with me, as long as the game won;t free as much as NV did. If it weren't for the cool story and quests...i would have put the game away.

Yeah, it's pretty bad on PC as well. But damn the game is so good I still play it. If I didn't have a backlog of about 40 games and BF4 to play I would probably put another 600+ hours into it now that I have it on PC.
