If you don’t have GP the Fallout 4 digital is on sale for $5 and the edition with game and all DLC is $10 on MS store.
Got the F4 GOTY edition with all DLC that’s on sale. Ready for the update.
I’ve put in some hours of Fallout 76. While I do like the exploring and leveling up/perk card system… other things about the games I don’t like. You’re basically playing in Hardcore mode from other Fallout games. You have to worry about your thirst and hunger, ammo carries weight, and you can’t pause with the VATS system during combat. Plus it costs you caps to fast travel to some places.

I just bought the "gold" version of this on sale for $10 on Xbox. Costs more to buy the DLC separately without the game.
I've started a new game using the Vivid All In One pack and it's like a different game.
I am astounded at how impressive it looks especially considering the game is nearly ten years old. This with the coming 60FPS update will be great.
I’ve never played any. Seen cool breakdowns of certain stories/quest, honestly the only one I refer now is the one about the guy stuck in a tree and there’s like the or four outcomes for the guy.

That quest was in Fallout 3 I remember that one.
I’m already at almost 15 hours on my new play through. I haven’t even made it to Diamond City yet. Explored the Northwest first, helped Preston, got my settlement going in Sanctuary, and now I’ve been making my way down the railroad tracks towards the middle of the map exploring as I go. All I want to play right now I’m hooked again.
With the success of the TV show and the increase in Fallout being played I really do hope Microsoft and Todd are talking about spinning up a Fallout dedicated studio. Missed opportunity not to have a game in the horizon with the popularity the TV show has.

Would also like to see other genres in the Fallout universe. A Fallout Tactics RPG would be awesome.

I forgot I had created a second character based on the below build. He uses power armor with filters that reduce chem addiction so he can constantly use Jet in combat to go into slow motion and blast fools with a shotgun. The diverse types of builds you can make in this and Skyrim still blow me away.
Imagine thinking the studio behind the IP should consult you before patching a game they allow you to make mods for(unlike many others).
Gotta love the entitled people in gaming that think the world should revolve around them.
I’m already over the 20 hour mark on my new character. I’m not playing with any mods just the DLC. I wonder if this update will force me to have to start a new game, but if I do I have a better idea now which stars my SPECIAL should be at and which skills to go with early.
As usual, IGN making an issue where there is none. Everyone gets a free update when excitement about the game is higher than ever, but let's whine about some free mod that nobody ever heard of. It isn't like they are even shutting down the mod, just updating the modding tools.
Yeah, it has been a while. Supposedly the map is the size of the original Fallout + Far Harbor combined.
